Hi everyone, if someone interesting, I am selling this one in very good condition and full completion just for 369$ USD ( EMS Post and PP fees are included). Message me PM for details, Thanks!

I got some fresh AG1 batteries the other day, so I finally dug my Mech Test out of storage to test the lights before selling. Ran into some problems. The wiring that runs down to the back battery box is disconnected or something (I'm assuming underneath the small part with the black tape), so the palms only lit up for a second before dying, and I can't get them to turn back on again. The two battery covers on the boots are also impossible - impossible - to open. I'm going to scratch the boots if I try ripping off the covers. Am I screwed? :panic:

Only premium members of this board can sell items :lecture

Yeah only premium members can have a sales thread.

Also, it's a grey area when it comes to just making a comment that you have an item for sale. As long as they don't flat out say " I have XX figure and selling for $$$" then it is usually tolerated.

But I for instance have sold items on this thread because I search up the WTB threads and message the people directly, while not having a premium membership.

hey there, i'm collecting only since 2014, so i missed out on good prices for this Tony. Finally i snagged one used, good condition for only about 260 Bucks.
So i had to take some pics :-D
Enjoy!

How many years am I late to the party? Something like 8? I just bought this guy! An offer I could not refuse - less than $200 shipped. Missing the dummy robot, but still, less than $200 :D

Does anybody want to sell their dummy? :)

and Budget has been pretty accurate in the past. What MMS number are we at now? I think the latest release was Ragnarok Stan @ MMS570. My money is still on the Mark 1 being MMS600. Every 100th number has been an Iron Man for the past several years now.

sick and tired of iron man releases, my god
Find another company to buy 1/6 figures from then. Hot Toys is a very mainstream company now. The days of them doing exciting properties are over with.

It's just mainly Marvel, Star Wars with some afterthought DC thrown into the mix. Has been that way for a while now.

I voice my displeasure in re-releases of the exact same figure and you respond with buy from a different company? Heaven forbid a consumer voice his or her opinion on re-releases. I apologize to you Howard Chan Jr. Not sure if you noticed but there is an increasing trend of them releasing the same character over and over again like Whiplash, Darth Vader, Loki with minimal improvements. If you like that trend, more power to you kid.

I am actually a huge fan of them just doing Marvel, SW and DC. In fact, I like how they are doing different Spiderman costumes these days. I never said I did not like Hot Toys' choice in properties, I was rather voicing that I specifically would rather have them make new figures vs. re-releasing the exact same thing over and over again. I also disagree that they do not do exciting properties anymore. Between the wave of re-releases, they do stuff like IT and Birds of Prey to keep things pretty fresh.

Relax "kid". No reason to get so worked up over a figure company.

I wasn't even insulting what you said. As a matter of fact, I agree with you on the re-releases but this is literally what Hot Toys has been about for YEARS now. I personally think they're a very stale company and this is coming from someone who really likes those properties, especially Spider-Man. The only reason they continue to be on top is because no other company has come close to their level of quality besides MAYBE Blitzway, and even that is a big maybe. If you LOVE Marvel, Star-Wars and maybe some slight DC, than Hot Toys is perfect but I know that plenty of people are sick of all the Iron-Man re-releases and figures. They even dropped all the other classic lines like Terminator, Robocop, Alien and Predator. They just don't seem to try as much as they did a few years ago and it's a shame.

People have complained for a while now and it doesn't really matter since they're still the top selling 1/6 figure company. Also doesn't change the fact that Iron Man related stuff sells the most for them so it makes sense that they continue to milk it as hard as they do. Nothing is changing and I don't think anything ever will until some other company matches their level.

I’m not a fan of rereleases, but it’s part of the business model. I passed on this the first time around but would likely pick it up if rereleased.

Im not a huge fan of rereleases either, but older figures like this make sense, as well as troopers that collectors might like to go back and get extras of. Why they reissued recent stuff like IW Thor or AOTC Yoda is still a mystery to me.

I could care less about this figure. But if HT is working on a 2.0 version that has wayyyy improved likeness to RDJ then I'd be on board. The current 1.0 version looks nothing like him!
