If the next Movie is really good then HT will have a lot of characters that they could make into figures. I counted 15 (including young and old of the same character) and I might have missed a couple.
If it the movie is a big hit they could do the same thing they did with the Avengers and make them all.

But they will probably make one or two and thats it.

If they should cancel this and wait for the sequel they should do the exact same for Prometheus and Bruce Banner

They're probably only going to make one Prometheus figure and I also question how worthwhile that is so yeah I'd cancel that too.

Really stinks that this is delayed. It does make me very afraid that it will be cancelled in favor of an "updated" Charles with the porn-stache and the hippie hair.

If all that HT did was made the headsculpt available painted like the proto, i bet they would sell like hot cakes.

Well, now that you mention it, they could have two sculpts for the new movie. I mean, the sculpt is done. No reason to let that work go to waste.

Another thing to consider is if Charles will even be in that flight outfit in the new movie, considering how things ended in FC. So maybe there's still a chance this version will get released, along side the 70's version which will most likely be a purely civilian look. Like I said, so reason to let all that work go to waste.

I'm pretty confident hot toys will release Xavier right around dofp release to test out the water and see if there's interest in the market for more x-men

Watching the movie now.

Didn't notice so much before but their costumes are quite different. The colour scheme is the same but the detailing and arrangement is different.

Such a shame HT never jumped on this, there was so much possibilities.

Beast, Charles, Magneto, Mystique, Havok, Banshee, Azazel. All would've made excellent figures.

Not going to happen, HT are too busy making armors that showed as a blur on screen for 0.7 seconds in a largely forgettable movie.

My guess is they will do what they did with Loki from thor,update it for new movie and cancel the first class version

That's unfortunate cause the First Class uniforms were damn good. I would have easily bought a Charles and an Erik. Such a shame.
