I think it's the angle. I see a lot of Jackman in the sculpt. Definitely way more than the original HT head.

I see it but I'm not sold. It looks too thin and pointy, like you said. I prefer the modded HT sculpts, like Rahmier's and the one with Origins hair.

I preordered a painted Modern Life sculpt. I really dig the likeness.

I am not sure how soon they ship, but I'll do a side-by-side comparison with the HT sculpt whhen it arrives.

I think that sculpt is brutal....no way an improvement over HT.

I really like the Modern Life Wolverine HS sculpt in the non-painted sample photos. In color, the likeness fades a bit for me. It also seems like the head is too slight when paired up with a muscular or athletic body.

On the other hand, photography often distorts perspective. It also doesn't help that many of these photos are of the HS posed in awkward angles for studying the likeness of the face compared to Hugh Jackman.

I would love to see a simple set of photos, using natural lighting, of the Modern Life HS from a straight on perspective, profile perspective, and 3/4 perspective. It would also be nice to see it compared side by side to the HT "The Wolverine" HS.

No. I check ebay on occasion. I figure once it's released pics will appear. Then we can determine if it looks like the proto or not...
