Following the first collaboration with legendary Japanese artist, Mr. Takayuki Takeya (竹谷隆之), to bring fans the widely acclaimed 1/6th scale Samurai Predator Collectible Figure earlier, Hot Toys is very excited to join hands with Mr. Takeya again and this time also working with famed Japanese filmmaker and writer – Mr. Mamoru Oshii (押井守) together with Hot Toys’ Production Director and Chief Painter, Mr. JC. Hong (홍진철), to present the newest addition to our Artist Collection series. Please stay tuned as it will be revealed very soon!

That does look like the Jäger Typ 34. I was very disappointed that Takara gave up on the entire kerberos line a few years ago. (or the entire 1/6 market to be more accurate.) Those kerberos figure stands up well even compare to today's best figures. (except hs, HT and others have made leap and bounds in that front)
It would be cool if HT decide to pick up where takara left off.

I will pick this up sure. I've been a fan of Oshii's "Kerberos" saga for a long time. "Jin-Roh" is superb and one of my favorites.

looking forward to it! I have 5 Kerberos figures in my collection, 3 Takara, 1 Medicom, and 1 Dragon. I could always use more. Bring it on HT!

I have always wanted a Kerberos but never found one second hand that I ever got. Hot Toys wll give me an upgraded version, perhaps at the same asking price.

I assume the eyes will light up.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

When I saw it was a Kerberos I was interested as I've always liked the design but never had any of the figures.

This one's a bit too fancy in the armour department. A little reminiscent of Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Ribbed for pleasure?
