I'm a little worried that there are no pics of the headsculpts inside the helmets...kinda redundant but I'd like to see HT's Skerritt and Hurt portaits.

I think that could have something to do with the helmets being non-removable - the specs say the "sheild" (by that I guess they mean visor) can be removed (moved up and down?)

I'm excited about the announcement...but I can't say I'm too thrilled with the rubber suits. The jury is going to be out on that one til I see one in hand.

MUST-BUYS NOW! I was on the fence about getting the ALIEN figures when they were announced a long time ago but I think I certainly will now after seeing them! :chew

The suit looks like it might be a rubber material similar to what they use on the Aliens...flexible enough so it can at least move with some articulation.

I love the "facehugger'ed" head! I'm curious whether they'll have actual painted head molds in there or is HT going with a "blank" look that is supposed to be fogged up by the helmets?

A rubber suited Astronaut from HT in 2008, when both Dragon and Blue Box gave us full cloth astronaut figures in '02 and '04:

It might've required a bit more work but HT was capable of it.

ON one hand, I would have MUCH RATHER HAD cloth suits. On the other, the sculpted rubber ones are gonna have more detail. Depends on the overall flexability of the finished product. If these, and for example Davey Jones are nice and poseable, then I'll be happy. Sidesm, I'm only gonna get Kane and Ripley any ways. My plan, is to have Every version of The ultimate Bad-ass

You guys do realize that the head sculpt HT is showing us is just a really well painted Palisades Fachugger/Victim bust right?

I've taken this pic of mine in about the same position as the HT one.

You can see that the Facehugger is the same and the hair is the same.

This is probably not the actual sculpt we'll be getting. Unless they have the rights to Palisades' sculpt.
