Obtaining the licensing rights is not something that you can buy straight off from a grocery store. Sometimes, it maybe as simple as that but the corporate biggies hold up their egos with a clenched **** thereby causing delays and cancellations not to mention the rights to the likeness of an actor/actress.

Repaints and variants have been around ever since they first started making toys. It's a business model. They are apparently profitable so why would they stop producing them?

$5 he doesnt get it....
 
I don't remember seeing this suit in the movie at all.

Me either but then that goes for quite a few of them really BUT it was night time when they were out & about, plus most of the suits did exactly go anywhere they could be lit up properly at all. lol

Ok the danceoff is over. Back to people complaining about repaints and kitbashes without realizing these things were already designed by marvel two years ago and hot toys has nothing do with what the armors look like. :lol Anyway put him up for po and lets keep this iron train moving!!

wait till we find out that Hot Rod is a very limited production item (along the movie promo numbers) and everyone is gonna want it.
