Hey guys,

I've bought this figure for a very nice price.

Well, he had a little problem as you can see on these pics :

^

The peg support's broken and I don't have the missing part.

Do you guys have any recommendations to fix it ?

Thanks a lot. :)

Oh.
I remember a guy here back when the figure was released who had the problem on one arm.
I don't know if he was able to fix it...

Perhaps drilling a hole in the arm and the socket and adding a metal dowel with epoxy might do the trick.

erm... you want to fix a broken thing without any instruments?
buy another body. i did so to fix the broken leg.

and it's almost impossible to disassemble it without scratching/breaking two parts in his ass. though it is possible. i think i have one disassembled. a magnificient piece of engineering inside. AND very well protected from taking it apart easily :)

Ok I see guys. This figure's not a must have for me, just a bonus from a really nice deal so I don't really plan to put more money into this guy.

I bought him for the repair challenge so let's go...

I see littles "dots" below the back piece wich protect the battery pack. IMHO we can remove these and open the bust, but I'm not into this kind of repair for now, so let's do a soft and smartest (as possible) job.

Here's my temporary solution :

I've removed the rubber arm protection first, not too difficult, just be carreful...

I prepare a small rubber cylinder with the same diameter as the arm peg, it has to be tight...

14291807_1787674664837577_5293612366202091300_n.jpg

Then put this cylinder around the broken peg support...

From here I give it a try but it was unsuccessfull... The arm is not close enough from the shoulder...

So...

As you can see I put another rubber cylinder but this time more larger and around the arm existing rubber... This way it'll add a little more tickness...

And here we are, just choose the desired pose and pull the arm into the bust carefully as you don't want to break the rest of the peg support...:lol

It can be achieved with another better solution but it's ok for me, for now... :rolleyes2

Awesome figure, not too easy to pose but such an iconic character...

Thanks for your advices guys.

i see what you did. now the arm moves not on a peg - it is one giant peg itself. excellent temporary solution i think. i just hope it won't be an inevitable and constant variant for all of us :(

Thats just amazing level of detail. Makes me regret selling mine and that was only yesterday lol!
