Seems to be making a comeback in the forum. A fight even started over it today and I just knew it would.

I was actually unaware that bro, bud, dude, pal ect. was a trigger for some folks. I've now found a new source of entertainment that I'll certainly be exploiting for.. science.

Surely you remember this classic exchange of dialogue from X-men....

Magneto: Doesn't it ever wake you up in the middle of the night? The feeling that one day someone with whom you're not particularly acquainted will call you 'bud' or 'bro'.

Xavier: It does, indeed.

Magneto: What do you do when you wake up to that?
