I think the Blue Batman and Joker busts revealed at comic con with this hurt the sales.

Yeah, maybe. I also have a feeling there aren't that many Blue Bats left either because he went out of stock and came back in. Makes me think Some people cancelled due to either too many POs or just couldn't afford him.
Looks like those last 2 sold out and he is on WL now.

Maybe I should stop buying these busts day one and wait for a discount.
Yeah I was just thinking the same thing. Although there's probably less of an incentive for Sideshow to produce them if nobody is purchasing them until they go on clearance.

Look at it this way, with the busts if you wait too long you miss out. Like I did with the Black Batman. Paying retail, even if a deal pops later, is better than paying aftermarket.
You can say that about pretty almost any SS product now though, not just the busts.

When was the last EX that sold out fast? I can't even remember. Pretty much every EX has not sold out until after it would be coupon or some other discount eligible.

Most EXs never get discounted. The most you might get is the $20 off coupon, and it takes months for that to usually happen. And to answer your question about sell outs, Superman. But I don't think the Catwoman EX ever made it to coupon eligible either.
