I have a feeling they want their 1/6 to be sure thing sellers so they will do popular players or legends & 1/9 probably cost less to manufacture so they could test the waters with certain players they might not make. & I personally feel this sculpt is way more accurate than the 1/6 orginal

Both Curry and Harden are up for PO on one german store so far, 175€ each. That's a bit costly imo, general Hot Toys 1/6 figures are about 230-260€ here, just for reference. But then again, that particular shop doesn't have the best prices in general either, might be a bit cheaper elsewhere. But I was hoping for an absolute max of around 150€, 120€ would be fair I guess...

edit: just found them on another store, 170€ each. I guess it won't get much cheaper then with other stores either unfortunately.

Where are you from? If it's $90 and below that is a good price. It's just near Play Arts Kai price range and that is saying a lot.

indonesia ..yea its around 88 - 90 depending on the currency swing.
still thinking to get curry

Thanks for the info. For that price I'm getting this line. But if it's like €170 like the other guy said then I'll stick to the 1/6 scale they have going on as it is too close to a Hot Toys price. Especially when I got my LeBron and Kobe for roughly around that price, mind you it was second hand but pretty much in mint condition.

Quick question guys, I apologise for being slightly off topic. Does anyone know if the black armsleeve and black wrist band that came with the Iverson figure has the same staining issue as that of LeBron figure?

Nicely done... although odd they'd choose 1/9 when 1/12 seems to be the more popular alternative to 1/6. And the joints are a bit on the distracting side; not terrible but seems like they could should have come up with something a bit more aesthetically pleasing.

I have a feeling these are going to be around $150.

can't do 1/12 because McFarlane hast he license for that size, and for the articulation they wanted it would be really tough at 1/12 (same with real fabric usage). I just can't see there being a market for anything between McFarlane size and Enterbay 1/6, especially when the cost is still over $100...

These really look nice. I'm surprised. Great sculpt and paint at that scale. I can see some NBA fans easily getting several of these at that size.

Interesting... you'd think they'd be able to swing a license given how different the figures are from the MF ones and being in a different region. But agreed, being an in-between scale makes these an odd duck and I could only see them appealing to collectors who like the 1/6 figures, but don't want to spend that much.

I think they have a real chance to create their own market here.
Especially if they focus on the legends like the early McFarlane Sports Pick lines did.

Do Magic and Bird next to kick off the legends and it'll take off.

They need to start snaffling up film licenses for 1/9 before Hot Toys realises it's a viable market...

Seems like the others may be coming out soon....
