Dear Mods and or Dave... Custom items Sales Move - Creators please share here too...

Been looking this morning for a post on this but can't find one.

Why the mass exodus of once "Interest" items that were converted to "Sale" as offered in the custom section, to the general sales thread?

It's hard enough to find something you once looked at in the sales section because of so much movement so I think it will be problematic to customizers and people following the threads to find them in there with everything from GI Joes to My Little Pony being offered...

A client follows the development of a project and now when it becomes available - it is moved and buried in the general sales thread. Then, if I recall - you can get in trouble for bumping it more than once per day... Just a lot of issues with that I feel

Is it not feasible to have them moved to the "For Sale - Custom Figures or Services" instead?

Would be great if they could move themselves when converted to the "sale" option in the thread header but that may not be possible.

Please consider keeping custom items in the custom section.

Anyone else feel the same?

Agree with this. It's now darn near impossible to find custom threads in the general for sale section.

Strongly agree. It is a mess now. I for one don't want to look through a bunch of listening to offers and over priced sales threads.

I believe it was because members who weren't Premium could start sales threads in the customs section with the bold red title "FOR SALE" without paying the annual fee so anything with that prefix was moved to the sales section. Looks like anything with the prefix "INTEREST" is still there though.

Right - but 90% of those started as "Interest" lists. I see the issue you mentioned as being a problem - I just don't know this is the best way to move everything.

Surely there are permissions that can be set on the Customs sales section that are for premium members only - or just have Mods shut those threads down?

I agree as well.
Although I check the for sale section every once in a while, it's only quick and to see if someone posted something that I may be looking for.
I'm always in a hurry though to click out of that thread cause its full of overpriced for sale figures.

I remember seeing a ton of "Moved" icons in the Interest section the other day and was wondering what was going on, but that is an idiot move, for whomever did it. Makes no sense whatsoever to look for Beto's "Chainsaw Hero" in the For Sale section. Man, I don't like to diss mods, generally, but whomever made that call (and especially for doing it proactively like that, obviously w/o advising the owner of the site or building a consensus for the change)...
