Well crap, that Soundwave is much cooler looking in the in-hand pics than I thought he'd be. I haven't been looking too closely at some of those Masterpiece editions because I was afraid it would start a whole new collection. I would really like Soundwave with all the cassette figures--I'm just not confident I could stop there.

I hear you dude. I'm already getting Frenzy and Buzzsaw to add to Lazerbeak.. FML.. I'm currently finishing my Dark Knight collection so I really don't know why I got this guy.. But,, he's AMAZING in hand and a beautiful figure... MP-11 Starscream is next and maybe Optimus and Megatron later on down the line..

Great update! One of my favorite Transformers.
He has a very simple alternative mode, but in the form of a robot, he looks very cool.

... MP-11 Starscream is next and maybe Optimus and Megatron later on down the line..

I would advise to start with MP-10 and beyond. MP-10 - restart of the line.
I think Megatron will be re-released in the near future on the same scale as MP-10

...I'm just not confident I could stop there.

and i expect in this month - MP-17,18,19

You are the Transformer MP guru so I'll go with your advice and this Thursday, for $110 total I'm indeed picking up Streak MP-18 and the Buzzsaw and Frenzy cassettes to go along with Laserbeak.. I can't wait bro!!!
