Yep. It's going to be a great looking movie, and I'm sure Nolan's preference towards practical effects will help see to that.

I don't think it would've made much of a difference to the final outcome though.
Except for getting the Brits even more pissed off.

i doubt the brits would surrender if they lost the BEF. churchill's is great speaker, he could rally the boys up.
but it would affect their campaign in the pacific and north africa, pulling out resources for britain's defense.

or they sack churchill, and get halifax to negotiate peace with germany. germany gains resources, primarily oil...cripes, would have improved op barbarossa's success rate. scary thought.

yeah i'm underwhelmed alright- this may be Nolan's first flop box office-wise- I just don't see anything special as far as war films compared to some really great ones done the last few years...we'll see

releasing it this summer is another dumb mistake-
