Well, I got some interesting news today. I have a tumor.

A few weeks ago I went on temporary leave from work due to some back spasms. I have tweaked muscles in my back before, but I was always able to recover. When the pain didn't go away, I started the process with my doctor to figure out what was causing the pain I was having. Yesterday, I went through the MRI for a more in depth scan. They found a small mass in my spine.

I guess it goes without saying that I am scared out of my f'ing mind.

I will be trying to contact everyone I have outstanding transactions with over the next couple of days. Anyone who purchased anything from me within the past couple of weeks will still receive their items. The Rainman figures I sold have shipped, or are shipping as agreed. As for the Tyler Durden clothing sets, I am refunding all the money for those outfits. Some of them have been mailed, but I still have some sitting on my table. Everyone who paid will be getting a refund, and my plan is to eventually get them out to everyone who ordered free of charge. I just don't know at this point how long that will take, so I think the only fair way to handle it is to refund money until I get a chance to finish the project.

I will be out of town starting this Friday, through next Tuesday. I probably won't be able to answer p.m.'s during those days. I am not asking for sympathy from anyone, but please, if you have a sales transaction with me and are concerned in any way just send me a p.m. and give me a few days to respond. You are getting your items, or a refund. In the case of the Tyler Durden outfits, you will be getting both.

So sorry to hear about this. I hope your treatment is a success and you are back to full health soon.

I'm going to attempt to cheer you up....but if this comes across as mean, i'm sorry...

Man, at this point I wish it wasn't a tumah. I was trying to distract my mind earlier today so I popped in the Predator dvd. I just kind of blanked out for a while until he screamed "Get to da choppa." Nothing like Arnold escapism.

I don't know you but you have my very best wishes and prayers. Cancer affects us all in one way or another.

Keep your head up and get your fight on!

Let me say again, as some have posted, I don't know you but I wish you the best. I will pray for you tonight and keep up the good fight my man.

This may seem like the darkest hour but it may lead to your brightest moment. Whether that be at the end of a tunnel or a triumphant win over the disease that has attacked you.

Take care of yourself.

Start eating habeneros,(or cayenne) the capsaicin in them has been known to KILL/shrink tumors.

John: I'm very sorry to hear these news, but somehow I have faith you will have a full and fast recovery. You will be in my prayers tonight and every time I remember you during daytime. Keep your spirit positive, get your mind busy with positive things and hug your loved ones. With their love they will aid you through it.

Studio...

Hey bro, I want to say that I just had a spinal tumor. My was found Nov. 2007. It was a small mass between my T9 & T10. I freaked out, we all automatically assume death. But the numbers are that spinal tumors are generally benign (non cancerous). All I can say is that pending what part of your spinal cord the tumor is at, it can affect your walking, arms, everything.

Well, I don't know where you live and how good your doctors in your city are, but please don't make the same mistake I made. I went to the first doctor my doctor recommended and I believed in him. Everyone told me that he was great spinal doctor, but he wasn't a great spinal tumor doctor (what I found out after the fact). Spinal tumors are in the nerves. Back pain, hernias and fractures are different. So please make sure whatever doctor you get, make sure the doctor is a spinal tumor specialist.

Like I said I went with the first doctor and he almost paralyzed my ass. It took me 6 months to walk with a limp. The sad part is the surgery was for the biopsy (the test to see what type of tumor it is). Well 1 year later the tumor grew, doubled as a matter fact and it started to shut down my lower half. I freaked out again, however this time I went to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, they are the number one hospital for neurology and spinal tumors. The doctor I met automatically knew what I had with just the MRI films. He also added that the first doctor f---ed me up, but he wouldn't go on record for that (to bad, I could have sued the first doctor). So my odds of paralyzation was higher. Your looking at a 5% chance of that (pending when yours is).

I had the spinal tumor removed in August 2009...and the doctors at the Mayo did a fantastic job. Yes, I was scared, but I believed in them. Well I just had a 6 month check up and the tumor hasn't come back. But Im still going through therapy and the process of walking normal again. Its a hard road.

I understand your concerns, so if you want to drop me a PM or continue to talk here, I will inform you want I can. Take care, and god bless.

Sorry to hear you're going through this. But you don't know the tumor is cancerous, so all could be fairly well. Has a biopsy been done? Guess it's in your nature to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Hopefully the bipopsy comes back benign.

This is such a delicate subject that I honestly dunno what to say.
I can't even imagine how scary this is for you! Just try to be as positive as possible, i've heard that that helps alot in getting better. I hope ur treatment is a success and that u get back and running again.
I wish u the best.

Good luck man.

Don't get yourself freaked out about cancer until they have diagnosed it as that. Hopefully it's just a benign tumor and they get it taken care of.
