I guess I'm the only one here who liked Cutthroat Island.

Saw it in a theater and can always watch some of it when it's on cable. It's cheesy but fun. I think I've watched it more times than the POTC movies.

I had no idea who this was supposed to be or from what movie. I've never seen it, but seems like even more of a wtf choice than "School of Rock"

Pretty sure there's a significant fanbase out there that will be every female figure that exists. I think many of them don't post online because of social taboos/stigma of it.
With this one having rooted hair, it's a must-buy for those collectors.

I don't know... the HT Angelica figure sold so poorly Sideshow was packing them in as freebies with orders. It sells okay now on eBay, but at the time it was a terrible seller.
They used Angelica as packing material for another figure I got back in the day haha. Not a figure I needed but I was pretty stoked about it at the time.

With so many online communities which include toy collecting I wouldn't necessarily call it that much of taboo.
I'm inclined to think that that sort of niche group would be more likely to post online this day in age.
Still there are far more notable heroines that they could have gone with from much notable films.

It's not even a cult classic. I had to googled it because I thought it was a porno. If you want to make a Gina Davis figure, go with Beetlejuice instead. Hell, even a Thelma and Louise would be a better choice as far as 90's movies with Gina Davis go.

It's a beautiful figure, but yes, it's baffling.
Why this? Why School of Rock? Bill & Ted at least has a cult following, so I can understand that a bit... but even that is a really old property and a 'dead franchise'.
I wonder what other random 1/6 characters we'll see. Characters from "Krull" or "Battle Beyond The Stars"? Weird 'Al' Yancovic from "UHF"? Clark Griswold? Actually, no... every character I can think of makes more sense than these!
I have to wonder what their game plan is... Just buying up cheap licenses, and seeing what sticks?
Is it a sneaky studio sales pitch? "Hey, if we can make something that looks THIS good from a movie hardly anybody remembers, just think what we can do for YOUR property!"
Joking and trash-talking aside, it does look good, I have to give them credit for that! I'd be tempted to add it to my shelf and I've never even seen this movie.
