Just finished my third play-through, this time on Hard to get that achievement. I pretty much harvested all the little sisters so I didn't have to fight the gather battles, and killed all the "named" people I came across. Because of this, the last level, Inner Persphone (sp?) was very, very different! Almost all of the dialog was different, peoples motives for doing things were different, the ending was different... everything... different! A little bit of a twist over what I expected, but you could see what was coming...

Lonnie, you are so evil! Harvesting little sisters! :nono :devil :lol

I just noticed there are two difference covers for the original Bioshock: Breaking the Mold Art book? Anyone know why?

The one Ill got is the compensation people got for waiting on a replacement Big Daddy and the other is a Developers Edition which has a different cover (still softcover) and has 174 pages unlike the other which has 60 pages or something.

Oooo, I want that one! I have a PDF of the 67 page one and was just going to get it printed but now I want the big one. Why does it have to be so expensive. :monkey2

I saw it for $80 on ebay last summer but didnt have the money :monkey2

What sucks though, is that my Big Daddy arrived broken but i didnt get anything. Take2 had a notice up to conract the place you bought the box-set, which i did but they never responded :emperor

The atmosphere or lack there of rather disappointed me as well. It was identical to the first in almost every aspect. After 10 years pass the thing should barely be holding together, it looked the same from BS 1 to this sequel...if ten years passed from being cut off from the world up above and the lack of maintenance Rapture should have been in further disrepair.

I found it unbelievable and rather unimaginative that it just sort of felt the same, it's as if no time passed at all. Rapture should have felt like it was wilting away until it ceased to be.

Anyone else playing multiplayer on the PS3? I'm really digging it, I just went 17 and 0.

2K Announce "Sinclair Solutions Test Pack" DLC for BioShock 2
Written Monday, February 22, 2010 by Richard Walker

2K has announced their extensive DLC plans for BioShock 2, revealing the first pack for the game's multiplayer entitled, 'Sinclair Solutions Test Pack'.

The first of several planned downloadable packs, the Test Pack raises the multiplayer level cap to 50, granting extra rewards as you level up. There're also five new masks to use in customising your character as well as a pair of brand new playable Rapture residents, named Louie McGraff and Oscar Calraca.

20 new trials to complete and a third weapon upgrade for each weapon fleshes out the rest of the pack, which will sell on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 400 Microsoft Points.

2K president, Christoph Hartmann, had this to say about BioShock 2's future support: "The fans who waited in the snow, rain and cold for the midnight launch of BioShock 2 have spoken and their message is that Rapture still has many fascinating stories to tell."

He went on to add, "Downloadable content is a key part of our efforts to continue to entice the fans that have made 2K a household name - we intend to deliver single and multiplayer content that respects and expands upon one of the greatest fictional worlds ever created."

Consequently, 2K will be expanding the game's single player story via DLC in the coming months, promising to provide further insight into Rapture by adding more narrative, new challenges and new tools to enhance the experience.

No word on when the DLC will arrive beyond "soon" and there's no confirmation of extra cheevos either. We'll just have to wait and see. One thing's clear though. We'll be spending a lot more time in Rapture than we'd first anticipated...
