more vinyl covering for Cap's Shield...
oh wow, his shield has white paint this time instead of unpainted silver, comicbook accurate shield.. interesting..

Is it really white or is it the angle?
Spoiler:It looks like he ditches the eye patch at the end of TWS. If that's the case, hope they release a TWS version of Fury because that might be the last chance to get him with the classic Phase One trench coat and eye patch look
Been wondering about this myself...... hmmmmmm...Anyone wondering what a Nick Fury fig might look like for AoU because...

Spoiler:He does drop his original shield into the water durring the fight at the end of TWS, and I would assume it's buried underwater under a mountain of Hellicarrier wreckage.

Spoiler:you can see it to the right of his bed in the hospital scene. It's next to the food table.

Plus Howard Stark was clear in the first movie, that Cap's shield was all the vibranium the US had. He loses it, there is no replacement. Unless Marvel introduces Black Panther!!!
Not to mention, there are visible lines on the star design, it's just the angle that makes it look flat white.

This is what I was thinking. A lot of the time they use different props depending on the stunts they pull. Since this is just a behind-the-scenes production shot, it's more than likely far from being what the final product looks like. This could also be a stunt shield. One of many made out of rubber/plastic/etc. used for action shots and quickly painted and touched up for scenes but not overly focused on like the actual metal "hero" shield for close-up shots.
edit: damn you photoshop...
Is that pic of the more comic accurate shield a number of pages back legit or shopped?
