All of the Medicom stuff I'd drop. Jack Shephard over Capt. Antilles? Bah!

Hell yeah, I'd take a $99 Jack Shephard RAH figure over that $70 Hasbro-esque Captain Antilles Buck figure every day and twice on Sunday.

It's not all about SW for me. Even if I wasn't burned out on it (which I am) I still like a wide variety of properties.

I don't know much about the Watchmen, but I think its 50/50 that the film crashes and burns like League of Ex Gent and Hitchhikers Guide.

And that's probably because you admittedly don't know much about it.

Nah, even if the Watchmen was the greatest comic book ever, its always a risk being translated to the screen. Even LOTR was a risk.

I think its wise to take a wait and see approach before getting too connected with something before actually seeing it.

I'm so glad I didn't get invested in KOTCS because I'd be burning anything I bought.

My SS Indy exclusive finally converted!! I think I was on the wait list 1-2 days after that sucker went up for sale.

Nah, even if the Watchmen was the greatest comic book ever, its always a risk being translated to the screen.

It's not a risk at all for me. I've loved WATCHMEN and its characters for over 20 years now and have been waiting that long for figures and other collectibles. That they're from the movie is immaterial to me, especially since the core characters look faithful to the book. If the movie turns out great, it's just gravy and icing on the cake to me. I'll be all over the tie-in stuff regardless.

And it is the greatest comic book ever, in fact.

I do now. The ex-wife got remarried 3 months ago. As part of our Divorce settlement that meant I got the house back. So I currently live alone in a 5 bedroom, 2600 sq ft house with a full basement as well (perfect for storage). So, yeah... I'd say there's room.

That said, I still won't have collectibles and such all over the house. I hate clutter and I also like to keep my "nerd world" and "normal, real world" separate. It'll be displayed in the classiest way possible and some rooms (Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Bathrooms, etc) will be off-limits for any geek stuff. I'm one compartmentalized bastard.

you probably got mine. I canceled mine exclusive a few days ago. Not into it anymore, the movie was so so and the delay in wait pretty much just killed my interest in it. Not even the curiosity on the new pro body save it.
