1/6 Wolves on Ebay

I Think Drakep3's got that one. There is one on his shelf that looks ALOt like that last Time i was hanging out with him. If it's the one I'm thinking of.... it's REALLY skinny in person. but even if not... the fur around the shoulders is not gonna be right w/y some resculpting. I've got a pretty good tutorial on sculpting fur .

Meh, the mane doesn't bother me that much. He's a Shepherd, the pose with bared teeth captures Timber's personality perfectly and after the repaint will look close enough to a wolf for my tastes. Thanks for the help though and I can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

I'm planngon to see if i can't repose one of the recasts, and fix the cuts with some sculpty. but all that will come after we see some casting done.

I was looking at that one too. out of all the ones readily avaliable out there, that one looks the best IMO. post pics for scale when you get him.

That is neat looking. The one that's standing up is pretty cool too but the tiny picture really hurts it.

I'd be careful about 1:6 animals with "real fur." I ordered a 1:6 horse for my Samwise figure that had real fur and was so realistic, it came complete with bugs. I still keep telling myself that they were fleas, but I know what fleas look like... and we'll leave it at that. Needless to say, it hit the outside garbage immediately, box and all.

Yeah, that furred version looks kind of odd. I think the sculpted ones would be the way to go.

Keep us posted on how it looks when you get it. It's hard to make out how it would look in person from the EBay pic.
