Not that it makes any room for Leia and a two-pack - if HT are concerned about keeping numbers together.

That works. With IL shown first, it was confusing. Not to mention if you hold the cursor over it's picture in the banner up there, it does say 297. Either way, a 2-pack would seem weird separated like that. In the end, they are just numbers.

Still, I want them to be bold and just do the whole Falcon. Let them charge $2000 if they need to and limit it to 1000 units, once it stars selling, the Golden Age of Hot Toys will truly begin. The Batmobile, The DeLorean, the Tumblers...nothing compared to the production of 1/6 starships/vehicles from Star Wars.

How stupid is it that the actual equipment he uses for half the film is the exclusive and the stuff only seen in cut footage is included with the regular. So stupid I almost cry. I forget was the stormtrooper belt included with the old Sideshow famer Luke? Maybe I'm complaining when I already have most of the stuff?

Likeness is off slightly, not quite Hamill but close in an odd way. Kind off like the strangeness with the Han Solo sculpt. Close but not quite.

Yup. X-Wing Luke is closer.

Don't forget Fixer. Fixer/Camie two pack and Biggs Tatooine/X-Wing Pilot two pack. I'd buy both.

Finally, after years of waiting. The quinessential Luke collectible.

Best Hamill yet. And that Tatooine desert-gi + Lightsaber combo probably screams 'Star Wars' more than any 1/6 figure yet. Instant buy.

If I could leave one little nitpick, it would be the expression. The likeness is spot on, but there is something...sinister about Luke's expression. He seems overly serious (Bespin version had that problem too). I would have loved for the sculpt to have that open-mouthed, bright-eyed, adventure-hungry youth expression of Hammil fro ANH. But the likness is stellar.

If you're a Star Wars fan, your destiny is to buy this figure. You know it to be true.

And for anyone who's hoping for a 1/6 Falcon, even if it's just a pipe dream - it would be 19 feet long so, no.

My studio is 30 feet long... but only 14 feet wide, so I'm out. And this Luke...surpasses expectations. I bet he also just sold a bunch of figures people were on the fence about.

Found this repaint on eBay recently. Another reminder that SS sculpts are usually great, but let down by the paint apps...

Although the likeness is around 90% and the hair is too dark IMO, this is a great looking figure. So glad HT got this license even if it does mean reacquiring some of the same characters.
