1/6 Hot Toys - MMS297 - Star Wars: Episode IV - Luke Skywalker Collectible Figure

This was going ti be an easy pass,, but d*ng this figure looks good.
I'd love to have him next ti Bespin Luke next to the eventual HT Jedi Luke as a sort of "evolution of Luke Skywalker" display. I'll be going that for Vader and the clones/Stormtroopers so I think Luke would make a welcome addition.

Plus we are actually getting sixth scale Luke instead of Jodi Foster, the head sculpt looks amazing

Still, I want them to be bold and just do the whole Falcon. Let them charge $2000 if they need to and limit it to 1000 units, once it stars selling, the Golden Age of Hot Toys will truly begin. The Batmobile, The DeLorean, the Tumblers...nothing compared to the production of 1/6 starships/vehicles from Star Wars.

That's so crazy I have no choice but to agree. Howard Chan says he loves Star Wars. Let him show us how much.

Sucks though for me that the EX has the Stormtrooper belt. Ordered Han and Chewie as a double-pack and that comes with that belt too. But ordering this from local dealers, because shipping and customs are too high when ordering from Sideshow. Would be great to display both Han and Luke with their belt, as seen in ANH, but now I will only have Han with that. Hope they fix the hair color, but they didn't do that with Thor so I'm not optimistic. Still a great figure and falling in love with it the more I look at it. This Star Wars line is gonna cost me some serious money.

Literally shed a few tears seeing this.. Been waiting so long for a good likeness of farmboy Luke. Brings back memories of getting my 12" Palitoy Luke for Chistmas as a kid.. So happy..

Landspeeder now please Hot Toys, and throw in a moisture vaporator and a treadwell..

Not likely. Iron Legion is already 297 I believe. This should be 298. Leia 299. 300 already accounted for with Iron Man. The belt will be market exclusive, and that's it.

I'm getting at least 2 of these. Set one up in the poncho with rifle, the other wielding the saber. Then there's still the Stormtrooper and Falcon Training Luke to display. You could get 4!

Leia is gonna be awesome, I know it!

The lightsaber handle looks wrong. Looks like the ESB version. Extra button near the top, activation strip on the wrong side and rivets in the handgrips.
