Re: HT DeLorean, SSC Tauntaun
Price drop bump! Treat yourself or someone else to something nice for the religious/secular wintertime celebration of your choice!
Last year, I didn't get the code emails until hours or even days later. I just got the one from today, which is very nice indeed. Thanks to those who set this up!

True. Also, in case of a defective figure, it's much easier to handle an exchange with SSC who is the same state as me rather than send it back to Australia.

They're showing SSC's Figrin D'an in stock at $80.75 shipped. The Tauntan is $277.25, but costs $95.31 to ship to the US.
I almost bit on the TFA Snowtroopers set, which would end up about $25 cheaper than using the May 4th promo code from SSC.

Ha! They really are going with the Space Cowboys homage. The SR-71 test pilot has a Tommy Lee Jones sculpt and the flight engineer is Donald Sutherland. I wonder what suit they will put James Garner in.

My suggestion is to keep checking if you're looking to buy one. It showed as sold out on the day they changed it from "pre-order" to "add to cart." I assumed that I had missed out or that they had done it on purpose to keep people from using the discount like you said. I happened to check again...
If they had hassled me over the discount or tried to pull a "store credit" switcheroo, I would've just cancelled the order. The next best option for me would've been to use my SSC RPs to at least get some type of discount on this. I read the fine print on Midtown's 20% discount offer, and I...
FYI, Midtown offers a 20% discount on your first purchase via their iOS app, so I used it on the DeLorean once it was available there. The app didn't deduct the 20% automatically for me, but their Customer Service department helped me out and I was credited for the difference. Midtown's shipping...
He always seemed like such a gentleman in interviews. I'm sure he will be missed greatly by family and friends. His impact on music cannot be overstated. A true legend. RIP.

Argh, I should've waited for a deal on Ebay. Oh well. I've had nothing but good experiences with Popcultcha, so I guess I spent a little extra for peace of mind. I wish I could've just used a code to buy a second one from SSC. They teased me by letting me get almost to the end of the...
Popcultcha may be folks' best bet for getting a second Spacetrooper at a decent price. I got a second one from them a few weeks ago for $250 shipped, which matches SSC's cost to me (before coupons) as a CA resident. A quick scan of Ebay shows most of the ones there selling for higher than...
This may have been posted already, but there is a definitive guide on how to find the latest versions of Harmy's DE, as well as separate instructions on how to put each film onto a USB drive for viewing on a PS3 or other USB-compatible device. For some, it may be better to just do it on their...
That works out to $618.23 shipped, as opposed to $634.79 plus shipping, which is what's currently showing with the 8% discount on the pre-order. Also, no tax (I think), since I'm in CA. That might be the cheapest way to get the DeLorean.

I keep waiting for Midtown to get the HT DeLorean in stock, and to see how the 20% off deal affects the price for that one. Maybe it won't work since they're showing it at a discount (I think 8%) already.

I was buying a TFA trooper and SS offered me $21 off Maria Hill. That was too good to pass up. She's a great figure, and the sculpt is better in-hand than any of the photos I've seen. I should receive the Mad Box set today or tomorrow, so all that's missing is Fury.
