Same here (also the chances to scratch anything are higher with the increased number of light spots in recent suits + sometimes extremely tough to remove some parts to access the batteries position)

And the chances that you get a worst piece after replacement are not neglectable at all... I would also keep it and feel happy because they are really very minor issues (it might be much worst, since the gold will show any issues in a much more pronounced manner than any red+gold suit variants)...

These issues, and the fact that I find in the images the torso to be excessively shiny golden in comparison with the rest of the body, have stopped my decision of purchasing for now. At the same time, and looking to the low number of posts here and that it is not sold out yet through Sideshow...

As far as I can remember: about 12 kg (somebody confirmed this number in a video). Instructions sheet show a figure alerting that the weight of the figure itself is 10 kg. Add to this value all accessories+boxes etc etc and you come very close to those 12 kg. Sideshow mentions in their homepage...

Do we know if this statue is 100% polystone or, as the case for the Internecivus raptus, it is made of "polystone resin and multiple durometer plastics"?

I was actually thinking on waiting also (at least to see some more in-hand pictures, apart of those shown in Facebook by the guy from Hong Kong- which seem to me too nice to be true and strange considering that he seems to be the only guy that owns this statue... maybe directly sent to him by...

You will throw me some dishes for this :) buuut... it looks great (both the statue and the base... especially the base to my eyes) and the main reasons for not buying it are: (i) Alien King (...who the hell is this guy?) (ii) Final cost (+shipping+duties for those of us living outside USA)...
