Amoktime releasing their own horror figures

I got mine. Its not crappy, but campy just the the films. I think it fits perfectly with the blaxploitation era and the price is right on point. I'm glad it's finally out.

NECA Django Unchained 8" Pose-able Action Figure Dolls

That's not funny, but rather insensitive.

    Quentin Tarantino's 'Django Unchained'

You have some valid points and I see where you are coming from, but there is no respectful way to use that word--it is what it is.

Check the machine, I think it's broken.

NECA Django Unchained 8" Pose-able Action Figure Dolls

Even I don't understand the protest. Heck, I bought all the black figures, no problems.

    Quentin Tarantino's 'Django Unchained'

I don't get it. I'm sure most slaves got no respect from their owners--they were property. I think those brutal parts of slavery shown were the most realistic part of the film and in that regard, very educational.

    Quentin Tarantino's 'Django Unchained'

I finally saw this film. I am a little underwhelmed and maybe I was expecting too much (I kept thinking I had seen this before), but I see where it’s coming from. It perfectly reflects Tarantino’s love for the Black films of the 70s and the plot is straight from one of those, but with a huge...

    Quentin Tarantino's 'Django Unchained'

Who actually sits there and counts the number of times the N word is used in a film? What’s the point? One time is too many for some, but let’s be realistic about the period and the context. That’s what many black folks in the South were called by whites in and out of power and control. I accept...

The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Comic and Un-aired Spoilers unwelcome!)

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!) I like Michonne just the way she is. She has that Wesley Snipes “Blade” swag and that’s good enough for me. Chop on, sista and don’t trust anybody.

    CW Green Arrow series, "Arrow"

I'm already sold. This guy is so bad he could grow up and be Batman. Bring on next week's episode.

    Serang's 'God of Guitar' FINAL!

I used fabric-tac to glue on the hair. Make sure you leave enough hanging over the forehead and ears to trim it back. Have a good reference picture and take your time--small, curved scissors work well. I am happy with the result and once painted, it is dead on Jimi.

Enterbay Game of Death 1/6 2010

I seldom participate in these discussions; I come to this forum for current information on figures of which I have interest. Like many of you, I have looked for the “perfect” Bruce Lee sculpt for years and this is far from it. I paint portraits so I think I have an eye for this kind of thing...

Hot Toys DX09 - BATMAN - Batman (Michael Keaton) - Specs & Pics

Two wrongs do not make it right. That image and what it stands for is very offensive and has no place here.

    Lucasfilm's RED TAILS

This film is a mixed blessing. It does give us much needed Black heroes who prevail in an action/war movie, but there is a cost for the way their story is told. The whole idea around the struggle just to get those pilots in the air is completely ignored and the film rarely addresses the...
