Used Rory's tips and ironed out the creases I had on the overcoat. Not too bad - just had to take my time. I used a pretty low heat setting and it was enough to get what I wanted. The tricky part is getting everything aligned while avoiding direct contact with the coat fabric and plastic...

Has anyone tried ironing the purple overcoat? What's the best way to do so? I want to make sure I don't risk damaging the fabric by using the wrong setting or something. Also...

The head/neck can actually tilt back quite a bit. I was surprised. When I first did it, for a second I thought that I had snapped it.

Trimmed Gollum's hair and plucked out a few strands. I think it makes him look pretty.

This thing is great. Picked him up a few days ago at Toys R Us. Definitely worth a purchase, especially if you can get one at under $50. The hair needs a bit of work, but the paint and sculpt look so nice in person and out of the box. Feels sturdy too.

Fantastic work. The production paint on the Up figures fell short of the Hot Toys standard, especially the Russell figure. Your Carl looks like it popped right off the screen.

Looks like variations in stitching and stuffing can affect the height.

Just stood TSC Lotso next to TSC Woody. He is the correct height.

All you have to do is cut the string, but you'll be left with that hole in the head. I used plumber's clay (also sold as Mighty Putty) to fill in the hole and painted over it. From what we've heard, Thinkway will not be making a Slinky or Hamm.

Not sure why they didn't make a joint there, but no they're not supposed to move. Definitely don't force it.
