Yeah, agree, I literally am comparing that photo to the EFX sitting next to me and it's bang on accurate, it's just a question whether people want that or an idealised version I guess, for me, I prefer accurate.

I think it all just depends what you want, EFX make screen accurate props and I think they capture the look of the actual shield, which has a somewhat matte finish in real life. EFX nailed the colours and to my eye KA just looks off in this respect. I mean, I have EFX's lightsabers and alike...

I'm very impressed with Bee, he looks SOOOO much better than the earlier protos that were displayed. Prime1 have really listened and developed the look and now it just looks stunning, I'm very tempted if the price is right!:) I was going to pass before but they've dragged me back in. Awesome...

I don't know what it is but Nextlevel your OP looks a fraction better than the others, maybe it's the photography but I know you re pretty close to Prime1 so do you have one of the proto's or display pieces? It just 'pops' better than the others. Maybe it's my imagination and would be cleared...

lol Oh look all the issues aside the biggest one is that it just looks like plastic so what's the point, I mean it's meant to be 1:1 iron man, do you feel like you are looking at suit that's made of metallic armour when you look at that thing... Not in a million years.

Think this is a pass for me. For 2K it's just too plastic-y (the gap between the eyes bothers me for some reason in particular). I mean it's not terrible, it's decent, but it's not awesome and it just needs to be to make me feel like parting with 2K.

...and where pray tell do you expect to get the shield for retail? It's sold-out, once it ships there's no chance of getting a cancelled order on BBTS and on the Bay they are already charging like 1700 bucks, the ones that Elite had all sold out quick and they kept increasing the price on it...

Yeah the shields don't sit around long, I think if you managed to grab one you did well, they won't be cheap in the aftermarket.

Oh man I see years of pain for my wallet once eFX get around to these new buckets. I like the stormie but the snow/jungle trooper is a poor design.

You can also be the standard head (masked) separately as a bust, not a bad deal actually if you can't afford the whole piece or don't have the room.
