Re: Hot Toys-MMS 201-Jor-El 1/6th Scale Collectible figure More wisdom from this guy....smh

    Man of Steel (SPOILERS)

Re: Man of Steel You find me somewhere in a court of law that would convict a person for murder by leaving them in a "probable" fatal situation. It's impossible to convict someone on a murder charge for something like that cause it isn't "murder", so it's a moot point. Murder is defined as...

    Man of Steel (SPOILERS)

Re: Man of Steel Batman is mortal and can only do so much. Are you going to say that not helping someone is the same as murder? It's not. But I agree, obviously the collateral damage was killing folks but its generally more excepted when its the authorities or soldiers. I don't agree with it...

    Man of Steel (SPOILERS)

Re: Man of Steel Probably because Nolan refused to have Batman kill someone with his bare hands, just like he was against Superman doing. Goyer wrote the story for the Batman trilogy, only writing the script for Begins, but Nolan's brother was in charge of the screen play for both TDK and TDKR.

    Man of Steel (SPOILERS)

Re: Man of Steel Don't have confidence that will happen. I just see bigger effects and more action. It's what is being praised from this movie, the ACTION. And if Goyer is still writing the script, it's not gonna go that way.

    Man of Steel (SPOILERS)

Re: Man of Steel Pretty much. He's just dug himself into a hole, which no one really addresses. But hopefully someone is smart enough to, if there's a sequel.

    Man of Steel (SPOILERS)

Re: Man of Steel Wtf are you even on about? I mentioned the fact that the New 52 supes in Action Comics was within his first year as Superman. You said nothing to refute that clear fact. You just chose to put your two cents in about a unrelated story with Steel, that had nothing to do with...

    Man of Steel (SPOILERS)

Re: Man of Steel So you're agreeing with him that Superman was "drugged" to make him sick and "as weak as a human", even though NO WHERE in the movie was that stated, expressed or conveyed. Pure mong status...:slap

    Man of Steel (SPOILERS)

Re: Man of Steel The problem with your entire theory is that it's completely made up. If its what you want to believe, then go on, but the movie explicitly stated it was "environmental" conditions that affected Kal in the movie. Reinforced by his encounter with the world engine that was on...

    Man of Steel (SPOILERS)

Re: Man of Steel No drug makes Superman violently ill and then makes his skin vulnerable to being punctured (By the surprisingly German Kryptonian) Add to that, he got his powers back immediately after the JorEl construct fix the environment of the ship. So......

    Man of Steel (SPOILERS)

Re: Man of Steel He's just a giant battery. When he uses his powers, it depletes him gradually if not continuosly absobing solar radiation. Some powers use more of his reserves, like heat vision. In a comic series from a couple of years back, where a villian induced continuous night, Superman...

    Man of Steel (SPOILERS)

Re: Man of Steel Wow, just wow. In the comic, Superman never gets violently sick when introduced to the environment of Krypton, he simply just gradually loses his powers due to the red sun. The movie introduced/invented the "difference in environment" angle to explain his weakness and to...

    Man of Steel (SPOILERS)

Re: Man of Steel I love this argument, and not to sound like a Marvel fanboy, but it's a serious cop out considering that you don't get more milktoast and pure than a character like Captain America. And even with the grittier, much more realistic version from the Ultimates that Marvel could've...

    Man of Steel (SPOILERS)

Re: Man of Steel So the lesson is, Superman doesn't make a priority to save people while he's new to the suit. He's only been saving people secretly for years prior.
