Mine just arrived. I was surprised at how big the box was, but then again, I haven't gotten anything in awhile. The statue is fantastic. No problems getting it on the pegs. I did the back hoof first, and then the front just dropped into place. Seems stable though. It was kind of tricky...

Mine is also being delivered on Saturday. However, I got it shipped to work, so I guess fedex will come back on Monday. I also got my 20-25 day warning email for Aragorn. Yay!

They took the easy way out on the likeness in that one! Although, from the side, it DOES look a little like Viggo!

I felt that the film had a slightly different message than the book. The book was very very angry, and was all about well, a Vendetta. The movie was a little different. It was angry, sure, but it was more about hope at the end.

Doesn't look much like Viggo to me either, but that's okay. This is the Aragorn statue that I've been wanting. I haven't been wanting a Viggo statue. The white tree on the horse's blanket looks VERY bright, but it could just be the photography. I'm loving this sculpt though. I can't imagine...
