Sideshow 1:6 Lando as Skiff Guard Figure

What an experience 1/6 collecting has evolved into: nothing below $200, NRDs the standard + tax on internet sales too, many cool figs previewed but then never go to PO, anywhere up from a 12 month wait between PO and ship date.

It's sucking a lot of the fun out. You also forgot to mention lack of clarity on when a particular figure might ship after release, batch shipments without any sort of priority system, and one company with a monopoly on stock(Sideshow) who also price gouges on shipping of all things.

The time it takes to get figures is by far my biggest complaint with the hobby. I'd love if they could figure out a way to have something available in-hand after a few months or so only after pre-order rather than the year plus wait in most cases.

QMX feels like they have a faster turnaround between reveals and releases. I’m not sure if that’s accurate, just seems that way.

I agree. At least they’re not as bad as Prime 1.

Saw this at nycc and it looked great in person. When announced, I said no way, but I’m in now. Ss suckers me in again, but it looked great. Hopefully the production piece looks as nice. I asked about and the ss people said the unmasked sculpt may be the exclusive. Take that with a grain of salt, as they also said it may just end up being a removable helmet.

An extra head as an EX when everyone - EX and non-EX - will pay $250 for this? My guess is it'll be a removable helmet like Luke X-Wing.

And the step down on the recent Dengar fig (paint in both head and overall weathering/finish) says it's 100% certain this will noticeably not look as good as the proto, but that's been a SSC standard for many years. HT seems to be able to have that proto vs prod difference be much less.

Mythos obi is 260. X wing Luke was 270.
I wish we knew which lando hot toys is developing. Did Howard ever specify? I know he said episode 5 han, but did he just say lando or episode 5 lando?
