Rather this than forced to buy a crappy chewie. I have two anh chewies that I’m still planning to mod - happy for them to go all out on this Solo.

Like the title suggests let’s speculate on what might be in the box.

Already mentioned:

Goggles
Welder
Hydro spanners
Tool box
Mynock
Ford finger
Restraints

Not yet mentioned but will be included:

Breather mask
Pistol
Droid caller

I think a deluxe would be warranted on this one. Things we may potentially see but most likely only one will be included:

Torture rack
Carbonite block
Hoth Parka coat
ESB Chewy

Although I may be tempted to double dip on chewy if they include a cargo net and 3PO parts. That I think would be a release on its own.

Feel free to add any others you may think of.

Yeah, I have the newest Sideshow Carbonite but it's the ROTJ version (even though it has the Bespin base) - would be nice to get a correct ESB block (which is indeed different to the ROTJ version)... and also to see the cabronite block made as the lightweight plastic accessory included with a figure it should be, not this huge $250+ release.

And give him a pointy finger!

Even if it doesn't, you can use the Tarkin finger, which is on the correct hand (and the age spots don't even show )...

If released, I’m gonna guess regular version with Bespin stand and minor accessories and a deluxe version with added carbonite block for the same price as Maul & Scooter Possibly same for Chewie, regular and deluxe with busted up 3PO in a bag. Lookin most forward to Chewie and 3PO

What is great is that you'll want to post a Chewy/3PO in a way that shows the bagged 3PO, so you can point Chewy's face to the back of the display cabinet.

That being said, this would be a great opportunity for HT to do a major reboot of their Chewy head. The Chewies have gotten worse with each release - how that's even possible I have no idea.

seriously if this new sculpt happens to be YET another step down from the previous releases - which I really hope it isn’t - I’ll just hunt down another ANH version. I hope they get this one right.

QMX Kirk also has a good pointy figure. Although that one might be a bit harder to get ahold of.

Yeah the ANH version can look "presentable"... if only just barely presentable for me. I've been meaning to do the face mods since I got my ANH Chewies, but I just never get around to it. But to see a newly resculpted HT Chewy face included with a light-up backpack 3PO would be awesome. My cheapo custom is really only a placeholder...

If they get the sculpt at the TFA level of perfection, it could be the biggest seller in SW they have had.....

If they get it wrong....it will be the most ridiculed SW figure ever.

Yeah I never attempted the full face mod but just did the fur lightening. I’m happy with that for my ANH. It’d be nice to see them go all out for Empire figures... Piett... VEERS & release their Snowtrooper Commander

...and I’m pretty sure if Han, Leia, and Chewbacca are coming Landonwont be too great behind.

You have to keep in mind, this all started with the Hot Toys Bespin Luke, which has two different head sculpts, of course two different variations on the same costume, etc.

That way, maybe they get one right ...

There is a Blade Runner 2049 Harrison coming out soon with 2 different head sculpts, and that’s way less expensive than a Hot Toys release, if they can do that, so should Hot Toys.
