I just cancelled my order on this. I didn't hate the figure but I just felt like I needed a Deadpool figure when I ordered and now I don't feel the same. Never thought I'd cancel this much but it feels better. I also cancelled Cap 10 year and WW JL. Different reasons for those though.
 
Wow I can honestly say that some of those pics along with others, I thought was RR photoshopped into the pics. Hot toys did. Very good job on this. Oh and that was the blogger who did the day time photos of DPlooks so good!!!
 
I got my Deadpool today and I can definitely say it’s a step up. I sold my v1 last week, the day afterwards v2 released in HK and then I bought one when eBay did a 10% off coupon. In the end I paid £30 for the upgrade. Worked for me.
The best improvement to me is the ratcheted joints!

I hear ya. I cancelled a lot this year. I'm getting bored with 1/6 scale collecting and just decided to keep the ones that are my favorites. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!

Wow, joints are ratcheted? Didn't know that. Awesome.
 
Exactly which joints are ratcheted?
That's awesome that they're using ratchet joints for more normal sized figures now. Definitely helps the figures last longer

Great video Justin. Thanks for the link Guyver. He's restored my confidence in this figure !

I know it's the standard process of people having issues (me this time round) with the proto and blogger photos, then in hand photos etc changing that. But I was really worried that he didn't look as weathered as the suit was in the movie. But when you see the direct comparison to the original red, it looks great and exactly like the movie. The shin pads may still need some additional weathering, but generally I do like the darker colour of the suit, plus all the improvements to wrist, waist etc.

Looking forward to the comparison video !!!

But definitely have new found excitement to get this guy into the collection, (next to Logan).
 
Justin uploaded his comparison video. Like stated in the video hot toys execution on this 2nd figure is what really stands out between the two figures. I have no complaints looks aweasome!!!
