Saturday is the best day to go if you're wanting to see panels. I'm not skipping as this is the reason to SD.

Yep...Saturday is for staying in Hall H. Some of the best movie studio panels on that day. And it's air conditioned and you're not forced to rub elbows, shoulders, or any other body parts with the sweaties and the smellies.

Saturday is gonna be a zoo I have a feeling seeing as its the only day thats close at this point. I'm kind of glad to see the others so low right now as that means we might be able to move around a little.

Don't worry, they will be sold out by Con time! :monkey2

Yeah, thats the main thing is going.

Right now with my Dad possibly not going I'll have to use my 4-Day Pass for my sister but if he goes I may have a 4 Day I can help someone with.

That's probably what I will do Saturday too, just stick with panels that day. It's my last day there, so it won't matter much anyway... I'll probably be broke by then anyway. :lol

Wohooo!! I just got my tickets!!
This will be my first SDCC, this is a moment I've been waiting for pretty much since the late 90's when I hear about it in Mexico. :banana:banana
Too bad I'm sort of broke at the moment...oh well!! I'm only after BD Pred 2 and Pred 2 Elder, oh and King Grayskull exclusive, and a few SW Hasbro's here and there...hahaha
See you guys there!!
BTW, is there anybody from San Diego here?

Thats nice, but what major movie studios will be showing up to promote their comic related movie this SDCC? I can't think of one, because all the most hyped have already been shown. They may announce who will be playing Thor, about it.

I went on a Saturday a few years ago and swore never again..

I basically see everything I need to on Thursday, do some partying, Spend the night in a Luxury Hotel close by, then I'm the ^^^^ out of there on a simple 2 hour drive home.

Works well for me. Bodie and chaotic crowds don't mix.

5 out.

Most of the movies being promoted will be coming in the next year, so there could be a lot of good ones! There always has been before!

I'll just tack on a big from what Cummins said. The movies being promoted will be ones coming out in the coming year. If I had to wager a guess on a few I'd bet we'd get panels on...

-The Watchmen (there was a panel last year but I would imagine another one could happen since it's due out in 2009)
-WB panel (they will hype several movies and one will of course be the next Harry Potter film).
-The Spirit film
-Star Wars: Attack of the Clones (I would imagine this will be on Friday and apart of the big Star Wars panel that happens every year. Expect it to be 90% of Star Wars and other product advertisement and 10% of content people are really interested in).

And that's my guesses for this year. Of course there will be lot's more but there's always a few interesting and not to interesting surprises thrown in every year.

The thing that is nice about the Lucasfilm panel is that they actually come prepaired with a full presentation. Its not one clip of new stuff and 55 minutes of idiots asking them how it felt to Yoda or if they could have a hug. I honestly hate the Q and A's since people without brains are asking the questions.

BTW, is Sideshow having a panel this year? I hope so. No stupid questions guys!

It was sorely missed this year.... I hated having to go through and buy each day, register each time again and again...:banghead

But... I can't complain. At least I am going. :gun

i noticed the site says... "Stay tuned for announcements on other registration options"...

i would love this to be a 3 day option... time will tell.
