Return of Hamilton feels good in that, I don't see her coming out of obscurity in her old age to do this unless she felt there was something substantial in the story, and there's room for good story telling if they address Sarah coping with her calm that Judgment day was prevented comes to a crashing halt with a realization that none of her efforts can prevent it.

If nothing else Cameron can reshoot that one previously deleted scene where she's old and sitting on the bench watching grown John play with his family. If Furlong had stayed in shape it could have even been done with him. Maybe even put him into the prologue war at the beginning too. That would have been bad ass. Too bad he's just a drugged out fatty now.

Or maybe change the dialogue so that Sarah says "Judgment Day came and went. No bombs fell. Instead John got to stop learning how to blow **** up and finally got to get fat playing Nintendo like he always wanted."

He could be whipped into shape quickly enough, but the drug issues would be the bigger problem.

Yeah Eraser was good but not great (definitely worth a revisit if you haven't seen it in 20+ years) but he never recovered after B&R.

He lost a lot of semi-prime years during the time he was governating.

I really hope this does well so we don't have another DOA attempt of rebooting the series. I honestly wish Arnie would just **** off from this series. I never wanted to see him as Oldminator, no matter if there's an explanation or not. But, he's the main selling point and he's gotta pay dat alimony.

Arnold is awesome, I think many would agree in saying that he was the best part of Genisys. Arnold is the Terminator, seeing someone else in that role just wouldn't be the same.

John Cena would be a great replacement though.
He has the look and the right attitude. The charisma needed to be the new terminator

I feel Arnold’s performance in Genisys was on par with T2, I blame T3 on script and direction, though he should have objected to the more ridiculous things, but he was also pretty lifeless, it was like the cold T1 T-800 in a hero role, not enough humanity to him, Genisys recaptured hero T-800 like T2.

The twist with the T-850 being reprogrammed to protect young John and his wife *after he had already successfully murdered future John* was one of my favorite twists in the entire series. Too bad it was wasted on that particular film.

Wow you're right. After T3 he directed that "Surrogates" movie starring Bruce Willis and two episodes of a TV show. Looks like he's got a direct to Redbox Sam Worthington movie coming out this year. Terminator totally Tranked his career.

You might say his career was terminated

I don't care for John Cena, and he doesn't seem very popular as far as big budget blockbusters go. Isn't he in a lot of straight to DVD/redbox movies? I don't feel like he has the acting chops to pull it off. I think that would be going a step in the wrong direction personally.

Yeah I agree, Arnold was great in genisys, the films shortcomings had nothing to do with him.
