It is a masterpiece, way cheap by today's standards. I have 2 Moderns and shame I knocked off head on first one and tore the cloth on thigh. I can't have a statue like that so bought a second one and did it again, both are ruined now. Can't keep them because my statue have to be 100 and if not they have to go. But not worth much to sell, stupid shipping is so expensive now. I love the Grey version but love the Modern more.

Lol I feel for you. I take exceptionally good care for all my pieces but this Batman statue is cursed for me. Of all my 70+ pieces I've broken none except for this one twice lol. It tipped over on me when I wasn't paying attention and set it down on carpet and also once I got a new one I dropped the looking forward head while dusting it. The brush tip caught onto the ear and pulled it right out of my hand.

I have been collecting 11 years and in first 9 years or so broke 2 statues knocked over Anakin Pf and broke off a gun. I fixed the gun easy Anakin taken lots of work. In last 2 years been breaking statues left and right.

That's it...I'm gluing the head down on mine. LOL

I never use the other one anyway and the man cave is due for a dusting.

You don't have to glue, use a little bit of earthquake putty and firmly press it on. Won't fall off and can be take off when needed.

Have them repaired

With the cloth no way to repair them, if was sculpted I could do it easy.

I've seen a custom repaint of the PF where the cloth has been removed and the underlying sculpt finished and painted. You could get an artist to do something like that using the color scheme of the Modern Age blue version. And a full sculpt may look even better than the mixed media suit. just a thought :)

Yes watched that video, beyond my talents to do something like that. I am sure not cheap to get something like that done.
I have to write that heads are rock solid, neither one broke.
I have broken so many surfboards no big deal but when I break a statue makes me upset. I guess because the surfboard is
made to be used and then buy a new one. A statue you mostly just buy one and don't have to get another.
In my first 9 of 11 years of collecting broke 2 statues, in just years broke a dozen statues no joke. Guess too many statues
and trying to sell so many pieces and once you move a piece you can break that piece. One thing is gotten great at repairs

Wanted to thank darthblitz for the 2 Batman PF's I received in the mail today, just amazing pieces. The gray and blue versions of this are now easily my favorite statues that I have. I mean I will probably only ever have like 8 or so total at a time but these are really something. True works of art.

Bought mine off Action Jackson. Great seller, beastly statue. Plus scored the EX, which while not needed, is still cool to have.

I went back and forth on which version to get, and the yellow plasic utility belt on the modern really turned me off on it. Great piece, was expecting the pits/5pm shadow to bug me, but in person, fantastic piece. If I have any complaints it is that the cape makes this even harder than Superman to display, as it jumps out in all directions. Will definitely use both portraits which I did not expect.

Goes to show, nothing compares to seeing these things in hand. I was in love with the Modern online, thankfully my LCS got one in before I paid for it. I was always lukewarm (at best) to this version, but in hand it exceeds those expectations.

Keaton bats now needs a new shelf though. He held the spot down admirably.

So, so true. I take pictures of these things to send to friends but it just comes nowhere close to doing them any justice. If you have never seen these things in person, you just have no idea how amazing they are.

I agree and I will add that the size of the statue (especially 1/4 and larger statues) is more impressive in person.
