+1 for Timewalker customer service.

They are my goto not for most figures....after I spend my SS points I am done with them....

LOVE Timewalker toys too. But...I got my Wasteland Ranger (#1) from Hobby-galaxy, and even with shipping, saved ten bucks. I live in the same state as Timewalker, so I have to pay taxes. I'll be checking with Timewalker though to see what they can do. Great people.

Got my preorder in with Timewalker. I also highly recommend Monkey Depot, their customer service has been great for me as well. But I like the small extra savings on preorders, slightly cheaper shipping, and ability to cancel later that Timewalker offers. I'm considering switching most of my ordering to them now as well. How are retailers like these as far as getting replacements or replacement parts on sold out figures though? I had some issues with my Deadpool from BBTS and originally they weren't able to offer me a replacement because it was sold out. But then they put it back up on their site and I contacted them again and was able to get it swapped. So that's a concern I have now with using these other retailers besides SSC.

Not sure as I've never had an issue with anything purchased from Timewalker but drop them an email and Steven will answer your question, great guy & company.

POd from Timewalker. They have been my primary go-to for years. Steve and Margaret are awesome, they always package items carefully, and I always combine orders so I end up getting free shipping.

Furiosa, Harley, Ripley, Jyn, a possible new Leia....this is a good year for female characters already! I can't be the only one who thinks it gets to being a bit of a sausage fest on the shelves haha.

True! Way too few female characters on the shelves.
But, a few weeks ago I got Leia (though I'm usually staying away from the SW main good guys). On preorder I have the Epoch cop, Furiosa and Ripley. I'm working on custom Rachael and Pris from Blade Runner. So yes, this year will change it up a bit.
Of the female figures I have half are customs showing that the companies often skip the females - especially if they aren't 'sexy enough'.
Aldo wish the range of female bodies (or male for that matter) were bigger. It's hard to find tall and not so doll like bodies for female characters. Hope it will change and hope they are giving Ripley and Furiosa appropriate tall bodies, not small dollish schoolgirl builds.

This looks amazing! I preordered two of these beauties, one to display with Max and the other for a custom. I adored the first wasteland ranger so I think she is a must.

While we're on timewalker i got my hardy max from there. Inculded in the outside box was a personally written letter about how the manufacturer changed from a window box to a solid face box, and if you wanted the other kind of box to contact them. Very thoughtful and personal touch. Over and above imo b

I visited Timewalker a couple of Saturdays ago for the first time to pick up my Phicen Red Sonja figure. Margaret and Steven were extremely nice and I talked with Margaret for over an hour, reminded me of the good ol' days of my weekly visit to my local comic book store back in the 90's. Beautiful albeit small store with lots of Detolfs you can spend hours staring at. I also finally got to see Premium Format figures in person! They have PF figures from SSC and HT, several large statues, 1:1 busts, 1:6 scale vehicles and figures from just about everyone out there on display for you to gawk at. I was extremely tempted to spend more than I was planning looking at everything there so beware!
I couldn't recommend them more.
I also recommended to Margaret to visit us here at SS Freaks.

I preorderd this last night at Timewalker, looking forward to finally having a sixth scale Furiosa!

Can't believe the know nothing of the Freaks....so many of their customers are here!

Oh they're well aware of us, I just invited them to participate here. ;)
I also mentioned that they have a lot of customers here, she was happy to hear it.

Re: VTS TOYS 1/6 WASTELAND RANGER ------ Furiosa (VM-020)

I personally say VTS with the Art Figures Leathers. There's really no bad combination, but you get the best figure out of the box with VTS. That being said, the AF figure has some better weapon weathering and a metal leg brace, as well as the declared winner for face mask. But In the end, VTS is the better sculpt and overall set.

I'll be going with OSK for Furiosa. Kit always ships fast and well. I believe she was the first to send out VTS Max too.

Thanks for the advice!
I'll think about it, If this was Gibson's Max there wouldn't be any hesitation though. I like Hardy's version but not as strong a character in Fury Road imo.

Dont know if it's already done but i wanted a thread on retailer ratings. But not just the bad experiences. I think it's important to document the positive, regular transactions as well. Too often customer service gets brought up only when something goes wrong.

Yeah it's a great looking figure and he was cool in the movie, but it's still just not a must have character for me. The only reason I'd get it is to pair him with the more memorable and iconic Furiosa, and pose them together like below, but not really sure that's reason enough to spend the money on him...

Such a thread was previously attempted, but I gather that some retailers don't like being rated poorly.

The problems is, with most ratings.....people are stupid...and complain about everything these days...even if its their own fault....

You cannot trust the average person to do a review of any worth.

I can see it now...."customer complained because his dolly was not looking good to him, so BAD SELLER!!!!!"
