Batman would kick the s*** out of 90% of Marvel's "heroes"

Well just out of the Avengers, I personally think Batman would beat 2, maybe 3 of the 6 of them in a one on one fight. And this is based on if he fought each of them one on one in an impromptu fight without any kind of preparation the way he did again Supes in BvS.

It will be the biggest mistake to not make a neck articulation for such a good figure.

I know it's risky but HT may use a little bit soft material to fix that.

For the record, while we're at it, we should go in the Marvel section and ask which is better: DC or Marvel? Then call them all "dense and retarded" when they give what they feel is the obvious answer.

It really has come down to marvel vs DC on a lot of these debates, with marvel nuthuggers celebrating joyously how BvS isn't commercially success as AOU.
I like them both. Can't wait to see civil war.

Batman was, is and always will be the No.1 comic book hero. He, Superman and Wonder Woman are the big three comic-book heroes globally - and were the first to transcend the genre - becoming icons... just look at the marketing for the 1989 Batman movie... all they needed was the bat logo, everyone knew what that was.
Marvel of course have their icons – globally though I would say that Spiderman and the Hulk were the only two... and I'm talking global, instant recognition here, not just the USA - and also since their creation –*growing up in the 1970s in the UK, I can tell you they are the only two Marvel characters that we were exposed to.
Of course due to today's mass media, the Avengers characters are now known worldwide, but before the movies most of them were not.

Yikes, I just meant which figure we liked better. Which one is closer to it's movie counter part. I think they are about equal in that regard. As far as the actual character I've loved Batman since I was 3 and I didn't find out about Black Panther until years later. Batman will always be in my top three. The Panther is still awesome though and has been a favorite of mine since Texiera's run.

But that's one of the things I like I about BvS, it has the format of a serious tone graphic novel. It doesn't need to be just like the avengers.

To be honest, if you're a big panther fan, you should probably pick both.
I do love his design in the movie, and hot toys did a great job translating it to 1/6. If I was a big fan, I would definitely pick it up.
I think the figure looks cool.
Of course, if you're asking only one or the other, I personally pick batman.

I'm going to try and snag both figures, along with Wonder Woman. Maybe Iron Man from Civil War also. You know, I don't think it's that Superman v Batman was dark, dark is fine as long as it's done well. Some people thought that the story wasn't very strong and that Lex was waaaaaayy off base. Along with dumbing down Superman I think it really hurt sales. I think MOS was a nice movie btw and I love DC and Marvel but I wish DC had given the audience a chance to know Wonder Woman and Batman by releasing their individual movies first. That way Superman v Batman wouldn't have had such a load to carry.

I would go as far to perhaps add Captain America to that list as well. Anyone who wears a flag on his chest and thinks he fights a battle of nations is usually pretty recognizable.

I concur. I think it's unfair that DC films are being compared to the paradigm that Marvel has set, but I can see why they are being that Marvel is later in the game in their film universe than DC. Personally, I've always felt DC's films in general tend to be a little more serious, emotional and better at telling a story per se than Marvel's, while Marvel's have the fun and lighthearted aspect to them (albeit not as much lately perhaps). And to be honest, I prefer the difference in the two. I would actually be more likely to not like DC films as much if they made it obvious they were simply trying to follow the Marvel blueprint for films. I admire that DC does their own thing and that there is a stark contrast in the two film styles.

It's ironic because people are saying DC needs to start being more like the earlier Marvel films, but later (recent) Marvel films have more of the same tone as the early (current) DC films do.

Cap is a big favorite of mine as well. Him and Supes. I'm really looking forward to Civil War; perhaps even a little more so than what I was BvS.

I mentioned this in the speculation thread also, but another reason I feel DC's current cinematic universe may be a little easier to criticize is because their marquee characters (Superman and Batman) have had previous, major in depth depictions on the big screen, whereas with Marvel, aside from a few campy films (Captain America, Hulk, etc.), this is the first time many of their characters have been majorly depicted on the big screen. So with these current versions of DC's marquee characters, there's more room for criticism because one can say it's not enough like the previous renditions.

The X-Men was just a better written and thought out story. The X-Men were also created as a group while Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman were created as individual characters. You have to come up with good reasons as to why they would come together. They are just bigger and demand that more attention and detail are given to their character development and backstory. I love these characters and I just feel WB rushed things to capitalize on the superhero craze instead of taking the time to make sure they got the core of these characters right by crafting a strong and cohesive story to showcase them.
