Yeah, Raptors weren't used the way they should of been. But the film being very Rex heavy is a guilty pleasure.

Indeed, it was very Rex heavy. I know some say it was too much but like yourself being a big Rex fan it was great!

I worry that there might not be any T-Rex in JW2, just an army of mini I-Rexes. They can't have Rexy saving the day again.

I didn't care for JW, but I really don't see where they could go with the series at this point without it coming off as a ScFy channel original film. Especially with using Dinosaurs as weapons on terrorism...

I like JW. It was great seeing it with the family and seeing it the second time on an IMAX screen. It looks great on blu-ray too. Of course there's areas which could be better but we could say that about so many films.

I agree about the sequel though, the direction where it's heading becomes less Jurassic Park and even less dinosaur related.

the main idea was good.
we never had a movie about an open park. that part was pretty good. And I even liked the very few scenes where people were just enjoying the park. that was pretty cool to see. The river clip was really nice because that was from the first book. even the petting zoo was fun to watch lol

even the dinos escaping was fine, but the way they handle everything else was horrible.

The idea was good, definitely. I actually looked forward to seeing it, but it didn't click with my at all. The most glaring thing I disliked about it, was the CGI. There's some shoddy looking CGI in JP1, but it's very few scenes with it. But the scenes that truly counted, looked beautiful.

There's no way to get away from it. It's still the most earth shattering piece of CGI ever done.

Aren't the Star Wars PT movies on pretty much everyone's hate/love to hate/hate to love/dislike/disappointed/destroyed my childhood/stole my girlfriend list?...

If my maths is correct that only leaves one more movie? :D

Around here nowadays. For whatever reason, there's a resurgence of love for them... :dunno

Someone should make a thread about it...:D
How about two? :lol

A-dev had an interesting theory. That all the children who grew up with the PT are now becoming adults, so they can more easily rebel against the real Star Wars fans. :lol

Then it should be closed :monkey3

Anyone who thinks the PT is something special, needs a refresher.

ROTS was the only one I didn't completely hate. PM is dull, but watchable. AOTC I ****ing loathe, and that contrived forced romance makes me vomit. Hayden was a terrible Vader.

If someone doesn't like the Empire Strikes Back... I'd definitely see a doctor about your mental health. I'm not even a big fan of the series, and I recognize it as a masterpiece.

I'm going to see TFA with my sister. She hasn't seen any SW movie yet and she's almost 22! :lol I'm hoping that after she sees TFA she's gives the OT a watch. :D

I really hope the new trilogy turns out good. I just got this feeling that it's going to miss the mark, but not nearly as much as PT.
