Got a question,
I really can't pose the Avengers Thor, none look really good, a bit due to the arms being restricted by the chainmail.
I was wondering, has anyone used the Thor Dark World body (with the chaimail) with the Avengers outfit? and how does it look? anyone got some pics?
I believe above here is only a cape/head swap with the avengers version or am I mistaken?

This is what I did. Swapped out armor, pants over to DW body.

This is what I did. Swapped out armor, pants over to DW body.

I did this as well, makes a world of difference. Making a AOU Thor from the avengers body, I will post some pics when I'm done. The sleeveless arms aren't too bad and already had half the armor needed for this custom so figured why not. Just gotta do some repainting on the armor gold color spots to an antiqued silver to match the AOU version and done!!!

Just ordered a DW body. I figured Ill fix it up since this is the only Thor Im going to own(for AoU Im just buying Cap, IM, Ultron and HB).

Has anyone ever customized this figure with sleeveless arms? I didn't like this outfit for him at first, but it's starting to grow on me. But the sleeveless look is so much better with this armor.

You also don't say whether you are trading YOUR Dark World Thor, or your Avengers Thor.
That could easily be interpreted as you have Avengers Thor and want to trade it for TDW one. Or that you have this one and want to trade for someone elses TDW Thor.

Never said I didnt. The point is not everyone will. Wouldn't it have made it easier if he said

"I have a Sleeved DW thor I am looking to trade straight up for this standard avengers thor, anyone interested pm me."

Given this is not supposed to be done in any place but the marketplace the less clutter (responses) the less likely it is to get flagged or reported. And less likely to bug someone when ten guys ask these questions.

Gotta send out a thank you to hehateme23. I've been pretty unhappy with my Avengers Thor for a while now, mostly because of those arm sleeves. Couldn't get a good pose out of him to save my life, even though I'm still really pleased with the rest of my Avengers figs. I also had been contemplating getting a new head for a while, and now that the Ultron Thor photos are out I went ahead and pulled the trigger and picked up a TDW Thor body and head to switch them out with my Avengers armor and Tony Meis cape. Love the way this looks, I'll make sure to post a pic when I'm done.

Oh wow, thanks! I got that idea from someone else here but I forgot who. The dark world body and head sculpt makes a world of difference with his avengers getup. Glad you made the change! Enjoy it!
