Even if hot toys doesnt do Doc i'll be very pissed and horribly disapointed with hot toys. The Delorean will be mine next to my 89 batmobile. There is only a handfull of vehicle's that are just iconic to my childhood. The landspeeder ,x-wing ,falcon, bummble bee ,89 batmoble ,89 batwing and speeder bikes and optimus prime and 66 batmobile. I have hope's hot toys is holding off release's because wants us to buy what is coming out with film's right now, and knows we must pick and choose. This hobby isnt cheap that's 4 sure. More pic's please......

Hey any chance throwing on terminator leather n black shades is what i'm waiting to see for bttf 2 disguise look.

I hope he looks great in person... I don't know why but in some of the recent photos, his face looks like he has no soul... maybe it's his expression?

Didn't you know, dee-dubs? Your soul is the first thing to go after your mom hits on you. :slap :lol

I keed, I keed. Apparently, well, at least according to Western reviewers, the HK bloggers didn't do any justice to this figure. Whether or not that's BS I have no earthly idea. :dunno

You feel exactly how I imagined I'd feel if I bought this figure a-dev. It's a great set of a long-desired character, but since I first saw it I've never felt that familiar compulsion to press the 'order' button. To me it's a figure that, more than most, needs a companion figure. With Doc alongside it I think you'll feel a lot more excited about Marty. As far as 'representing the license' goes, I think the Delorean can do that on its own; and Marty and Doc can do it together. All three would be brilliant. But just Marty on his own doesn't tickle the nerd boner for me.

Agreed. For me it's not enough just to have a character from a cool or beloved movie; it's also got to be a character with a really cool or interesting look as well, and be something that could make for a cool display piece. And I'm just not sure Marty really qualifies for that (as much as I really, really love BTTF). And the same frankly goes for Doc.

So undecided on keeping my pre-order or not. Great figure but I'm not feeling the excitement. Even after watching the movie the other night.

I'm not sure what to say about this figure. Yesterday when I opened him up I was disappointed - not with the figure, the figure is superb - but with my reaction to it. I felt I wasn't as excited about owning it as I should be, perhaps confirming my fears that BTTF isn't ''toyetic'' enough - I never desired toys from it as a child, so why would I now etc etc .

That's how I feel about it and not bothering with the figure. There are lots of movies I love but have no desire to have any representation of them on my toy shelves.

Nail on the head. I think Breaking Bad is brilliant, but do I want a Walter White hanging out next to Darth Vader, Batman and Terminator? Nah. :lol Same would go for Marty here.

Then I was able to show him to people, they recognised him straight away and were amazed by the clothes and that perked me up a bit. And today I have him displayed with the box as a backdrop (I would display a lot of figures like that actually if space were permitting) and it really pops, screams iconic and I'm looking at it right now thinking '**** yeah'. But will that last?....

So, yeah, not sure what to think.

Excellent figure though. If you're not worried about money and you never shared the BTTF 'not toyetic' enough view then buy it, buy it now.

Very well worded, I felt exactly the same. That's why I dug out some of the prop replicas from previous releases to display him with him.

I disagree with the guys saying he is not iconic enough for a 1/6 figure though, very much depends how much BTTF was part of your youth.

Agreed! The film was such a huge part of my childhood. Can't count how many times we watched it. It's one of those films that stands the test of time across many generations.

Also great shots Tim and Earl! Man I'm jealous, gotta wait almost a month for mine lol
