Not many of the BD VII Promos converted off of waitlist. I was on for months then they closed it. 
Could be they played it safe and went to waitlist early though I'm betting it doesn't close till the end of the year.

I think I've read in the past on one of the SSC threads that if a new account is created and no product has ever been purchased before it could go straight to cancel. That may have changed but there is something about order processing on brand new accounts.
Also if people tried to defraud the system and get multiple orders to one address in that's a whammy and it will kick out those orders. The multi orders will go through as a valid order initially but when charged the order will cancel from the billing address.

Go waitlist, it seems likely you will get a conversion at the moment.. don't forget there is an NRD.
Probably not. They give you more time to get the CC issue straight. They just pre-ordered so many and are adding more or they don't pre-order exact numbers. So they can handle the deluge better.

I was on the waitlist and just got an email this evening that mine had converted.
Got one as well. This figure is slated for a Sep-Nov '15 release so should i just ignore the note on my conversion email saying, ... typically sent out 14-21 days before the item is charged and shipped? I don't want to lose the chance again if this would really be released earlier since i also got other PO's in line within that 14-21 day time frame.

Got a conversion as well. Pretty happy to get it. Will look great next to Python and avengers Mark VII. Meanwhile, I'm starting to think this will be released earlier than the expected date.

Mine converted as well. Is Sideshow charging ONLY for the NRD at this point or is full payment ($339) expected up front? I see the figure is not even available until September-November.
