Tell me this actress (Sage Parker) doesn't look A LOT like Mary-Louise Parker! I've searched but I can't prove they're sisters.

Meeeeh... still not released...

Now with my ED disappearing again I REALLY can't wait to get Murphy.

But I can see dumb Iron Man MkBlaBlaBla coming around the corner first...

I'm not expecting to see this until mid-October. Tell tale signs that Hot Toys are messing around and will release everything in front of this one. Doesn't bode well for the future of the battle damaged unmasked version seeing the light of day within the next 12 months either.

Ain't that the truth. Try 18 months following PO.

Hello fellow Sideshow Freaks, this is my first post.

Being as big a fan of RoboCop as one can reasonably be (it's my all-time favourite film) and a previous collector of Sideshow Weta LotR and Gentle Giant Collectibles, I was simply blown away by this figure when it was unveiled last year. I've had it on pre-order with Zavvi (UK) since March for £197.99. The wait has been long and we've been thru the ED-209 debacle and subsequent reveal of the jaw dropping BD RoboCop to follow. My guess is we won't be seeing this until at least December. I'd hope the quality control has been very high as that prototype looked perfect and I want the final version to mirror it as much as possible. If it means a longer wait then so be it. 2014 has seen a long needed revival in all things RoboCop related and this piece is a long time coming and I pray they nail the final version.

The one shown at SGTCC recently looked a step back facially and I hope this is not indicative of the final piece.

Hi Seeker! Welcome!

Yes, as you can see, we are all waiting on this guy like crazy. Latest batch of pics don't look as good as what it was shown as a prototype, but let's try not to worry too much just yet (impossible around here, I know)

I'm not worried tbh. This is going to look amazing, I think.

Not as good likeness to Weller as EBs but I think it is good enough that you can that it is him and armor on this is more detailed than EBs. So overall I think this looks like a better version of Robocop than EBs but if we are talking about Weller likeness only then EBs is on top IMO.

Whilst the EB RoboCop is a great likeness I simply cannot find fault with this version (SGTCC pics aside). As for the BD version shown recently it's also an eerily accurate rendition of Weller's likeness.

Well so far they are the only decent pics to go by, because that pic you posted above is a picture of the prototype and obviously not a picture of the final product.

Yeah but that is the proto, the final product might turn out different, like this one obviously has.

I'm hoping we get pictures of the final product soon and they blow us away just like Robocop blew away Ed 209s head with the cobra assault cannon.
