I had forgotten that. Will have to watch that again. Haven't seen the second one at all.

The second one is Cage-less. Which means it has FAILED.

The big problem with the Kick-Ass movies, to me, is that while Chloe Moretz is awesome, the dude in the title role just doesn't have any charisma at all. The movies should have been about Hit-Girl and Big Daddy and dumped Kick-ass and his storyline. Either that or they should've found a different actor.

I'm still holding out hope that we get a sixth scale Big Daddy figure at some point.

Aaron Johnson's character is kind of bland because he's written that way. He's supposed to be the "everyman" type of superhero. Not as powerless as say, Mystery Men, but not nearly as powerful as Hit Girl. Maybe that's a reflection of the modern man.

I agree. He plays the role well and he is supposed to be a bit dull. Hit-Girl nicely counters that.

Jim Carrey is great is the second film.

Right now I have my Dx09 Keaton Batman partnering up with Hit Girl anyway. He's a solid Big Daddy substitute and she's a thousand times cooler than any Robin could ever be.

Damn it I'm probably gonna get the DX-15 even though the DX09 should be enough for me. But Keaton Batman fits with so many different groups of figures on my shelf. And if I'm gonna have a regular Cap and a stealth version, I might as well have two Keatons. Hmm. Maybe the DX15 can hang with my Avengers group.

But unless something drastic happens to change my mind, there will be no Batfleck in my collection. I just won't be able to get past the fact that he's Ben Affleck no matter how good he may be in the role.

DX15 is very much worth getting. So far, it looks awesome.

Affleck may be a great writer and a heck of a director, but to me, he's no Batman. But who knows, he could surprise us. Keaton did, as did Bale.

The irony of people praising Keaton in this thread and bashing on Affleck is funny to me because all the Affleck bashers are using the same arguments a ton of people were using against Keaton back in 88

Keaton has more in common in Heath when it comes to fan rage because they didn't have experience in those types of roles. It's not really similar to Affleck at all

LOL true, but I think there's still an arguable difference to be made. Prior to Batman, I believe Keaton was a better actor than Affleck has ever been.

Affleck last few files have been great. I can understand peoples reservations but I'm hopeful the movie will surprise people. I think Affleck will do great.

No, you can't compare it.

Affleck is very well known and we have already seem him in a superhero role meaning there is a lot more evidence to go on.

On a personal note, there isn't one Affleck film I like. I've never enjoyed his films and I've never rated him as an actor. I think he is more into his own hype than making good films. He seems to be having a renaissance since Argo and he is riding high on the back of that.

I actually hate the fact that he is playing my favourite comic book character but I will happily give him a chance and judge him in the role after I've seen the film.

I predict he will do neither a poor or fantastic job. He will be merely acceptable but certain fans will proclaim him to be the greatest ever because they know that a lot of fans will say he blew it no matter good he was. In other words, this place is going to be unbearable when that movie comes out

I liked him in The Town. I think he'll be adequate in the role but given a preference I wished they would have kept with the auditions.

What a boring, safe prediction though. I bet he does an awesome job.
