Looking forward to seeing it myself :clap

That statue proto looks great, would much prefer sixth scale Hot Toys 300 figures though!

That statue is incredible.

Since we're in the Leo thread though I'll give my thoughts. I liked 300 but its not one of those movies I feel the urge to watch a couple times a year or purchase the blu-ray. Still, I think its a smashing figure and easily right up there with HTs best. I saw it on display at my local comic book store and I wasn't let down after seeing nothing but pictures of it for years.

What about from another manufacturer?

I have never seen any. There are similar looking ones but the sizes are different. Its because of the the really long part that goes into the forearm. Not sure the really long peg is really needed. Have you tried using a normal one?

I won one from a seller on EBay (hasn't come in yet) that says he only has one extra so I'm looking for more just to get my count of extra wrist pegs back up. He also says the figure didn't come with any instructions (he's the second owner, I'll be the third), I know it should have had some so if anyone call provide me with a scan or a copy by mail I would greatly appreciate it.

Got my Leonidus in the mail today, it cost me $500, but after opening it I find that the figure is broken. Inside the rubber body whatever holds the right shoulder to the bicep is completely in two. If you hold the bicep keeping the two halves aligned you can move the arm outward (chicken wing). If you support it you can get it to move one click backwards, but there is no forward movement at all except moving it back to his side. Everything else about the figure is OK. I want to send it back for a refund, but if he offers me a deal how much do you think it's worth in this condition?

Damn that kinda sucks if it wasn't listed in the description. It's worth is pretty much up to you though. If you're willing to spend $500 on him then why not send him back for full refund and buy another one? They seem to be available. :dunno

He claimed in his description that the forward movement was "stiff"; not none at all. Also, he claimed that when you moved the arm outward (chicken wing) it felt like it popped out of joint if you lifted it too high; nothing about being completed broken in two.

If I get my money back it looks like I'll be paying between $550 and $600 at the least to get one in top condition, sadly.

Stuff getting lumped with a broken one, get your full refund and wait out a deal imo. This is a stellar figure and if you pay anything for it you might as well be paying for a perfect one.

I'd never pay 500 for a damaged figure no matter how rare. I'm amazed at the hype with this figure. It was good but essentially a naked rubber doll that would eventually deteriorate on me. Glad I got rid of mine.

Yup. The only way I'd even consider some sort of discount is if it was the left arm and the partial refund was massive. Like $350 massive. :lol

A seller I know has a MSIB figure that's never been displayed, and part of the hands are stained red from laying on the cape so long. The torso back may be too. Is there a safe way to get the stains out without damaging the parts?
