Total Film gives it 4/5 while Empire gives it 2/5. Those crazy kids...
I like Oldman's expression in that little shot too. Almost seems cringe worthy.
LOL! IGN is so easily persuaded.I'm sure IGN will give it a 10/10.
My wife has to see it first before I review it.
IGN gave it a 6.9/10.
They'll change their mind and update it next week.
MGM and Columbia Pictures will send a nice check and it's done.

So... he wears the silver suit for the majority of the film? Starts with the black suit then reverts to the silver. If he wears and fights in the silver one for the majority of the film, then I am a happy camper.Spoiler:

Spoiler:Batman got old, decided to manufacture robots to fight crime.
Commissioner Gordon retired, got some kinda of doctorate in robotics to help people rebuild their lives.
Rosarch, still a badass, taking care of robots but got canned by tinman.
Nick Fury, got his eye back and decides to talk **** on national television.
You forgot your backslash and have one too many prefix tags.
Just came back from watching it. Was pretty average for me...but my GF likes it. She said you can feel the pain of Alex Murphy.

They totally got him back in the silver suit to set it up for a sequel.
Yeah, I mean what if it just isn't well received by moviegoers and doesn't get a sequel? What if having him in that cooler looking silver suit from the beginning would have ensured this film would do better box office?
This was the big shame about T4 being set in 2018 and not getting to the good stuff that everyone wanted to see in the first place. The film just wasn't good enough to earn sequels to complete their stupid trilogy plan. And they're making exactly the same mistake again too. T5 - the first in a planned new trilogy And a new TV show too. Where is this confidence coming from? How is it justified after 2 mediocre films and a show that got cancelled after 2 seasons?
Spoiler:I honestly did NOT like the silver suit in this one for some reason. The silver just looked so fake in comparison to the old movie. So I like how they decided to do something else at least in that department. As much as I dislike the black suit, I started thinking about this movie more somewhat and I absolutely LOVED that they tried to do the satire thing the old one did, but with today's world. The whole feel of the movie was SOOO generic sci fi, it almost felt on purpose. Same with the designs and especially with the black suit. It all makes sense. That and the running gags about America's superiority and even the robophobic concept the world developed made it feel like I was laughing with the people who made the movie instead of at it, just like I felt watching Verhoeven's sick and twisted 80's sci fi satire. Just in a different direction due to the times.
The things they did, I feel they did with the generic technology of today's science fiction. The perfect face and hand, from today's almost scarily realistic prosthetics as opposed to the old's grimey and imperfectness of 80's futuristic sci fi. The process of creating robocop with such emphasise on resellability and commercial end products. The video game style action with the kill (oh, I'm sorry. Stun) count. It was generic as heck. But somehow I feel this movie gets away with it, not because it's like the original in tone, but like the original in trying to project the current style/trend of filmmaking and somewhat making fun of it(self). This movie gave me a good laugh, and I commend it for making me feel like it's on purpose in some way.
