I expect to see a full sized Green Lantern later on. He's good for what he is, but he needs a museum pose, height, and PJ's like Bats and Supes (and Flash).

So you complain about the defects but you still keep the statue...

Here is the thing: the only thing that sends a strong message to a company if you are not happy is returning the product. If you point out the flaws and still keep the product then they see all your posting here, ignore it and move on with their lives. The sale went through, he is keeping it, moving right along.

I think we all see the armpit issue. Now that more pics and videos are popping up we can see that some have figured out a way to minimize it or perhaps it is less pronounced in some pieces than others.

In Turkey you can't return your product easily! We are not purchasing the products directly from Sideshow and there is lots of problems about custom! Everything is fine who lives in America but in Turkey it is hard to be a collector. You know what, this statue costs me almost nearly 600 dollars so I am YELLING!!!

Well, first I have right to say my thoughts freely without thinking if any premium member gives me a negative reputation! Besides if I have a strong argument, have facts and reasons to prove it, I don't mind the reputation crap! I see some of you having fun with me just because I tried to show how this Batman statue looks anatomically so wrong because of the stitches of the sleeve. I did because maybe Sideshow can hear my voice. You say that it's far the best Batman statue on the market so no need to complain because of a small issue! Don't agree with you,sorry! I am so bored to hear that in collection community just because they are very expensive products named high-end! In Turkey the prices are more higher and it's hard to earn that kind of money in here! As a result it's my right to higher my voice besides I am big fan of Batman! I think this statue will be perfect when someone modifies it cause it has the mood of everything Batman is related. When you look at from that point, it is a grail for me so I will keep it...

I completely agree. But thats not what alot of folks who bought him already had in mind.

Hopefully Flash, Aquaman, Green Arrow etc. lineup better.

Didn't get him because of the same reason. With the current Bats and Supes PF, he'll not only look puny but out of place with that dynamic pose. Lets see when SS gets around making another, should be a couple of years or more, have to wait.

Honestly the only thing that bothers me at this point is the face paint. It's too dark and i don't like the shadow. Yes i would have preferred if the armpits didn't sag but it's not as big an issue as people make out. I just wonder if they will fix either issue in time for the regular release.

But the best Batman statue for me goes to the Kotobukiya Batman. If only it was Polystone instead of vinyl and in 1/4 or 1/6 scale it would be perfect.

I agree Jaws. Not for me, but don't want to rain on the parade of those that like him. Congrats guys Phew! Glad the Freaks board is back up, not such a fan of Statue Forum.

You prefer to jump on SF and rain on the parade of those who like them there. What happened, come back to Freaks and all of a sudden get all nice and friendly?

From the first few photos that came out I was secretly glad I had to cancel my pre-order (many many months ago)
Now the latest photos have shown up I'm desperately trying to see if I can juggle the funds to purchase the Bats.

If everyone united against the bad stiching they redo it for us. Unfortunately, there're too many people who are content with a half a$$ job. They're the reason Sideshow feels they can get away with this. Now they can just say "If you don't like the horrible job we did with the seam lines we'll just find another customer that doesn't care about the quality of their statues to sell it to." If everyone sent their statues back they'd fix the problem: they'd have no choice.

I'll receive my Batman on tuesday. Obviously it'll be the same with the bad armpit, so i'll send an email to SS customer service. And i hope everybody will send them an email.
It's a 400$ statue of one of the most iconic superheros, no one should be please to spend so much money on a bad statue like that...

If we accept that, Sideshow will still send us bad statue at crazy prices.

Reputation systems are a weird thing. I get understand their purpose to a point, but like anything the can be abused. I have been on another forum, and I have to say that it works well there because for EVERY ridiculous negative rep you get you get 10 greens to balance it out. However, there the reputations are available to all and it isnt a pay for service. I get why Dave is offering the premium memberships, operating a site like this can't be cheap, but to be care with the rep I wouldn't exclude nonpaying members from it. Just my two cents, but maybe a rep boost for the Premium Members. Again just a thought.

When I pay for a membership, my rep power will be extremely high. That said, I have no intention of using it for retaliation (I'm quite capable of telling people what I think openly and directly). I've never understood that kind of vindictive cowardice. I certainly don't respect it, and I'd have a hard time respecting myself.

Sideshow will make more Bats. Maybe theyll surprise us with a variant, but without the fabric this time. I wouldnt be surprised.

I'd probably end up buying that.
