Boy there are a lot of cranky pants around here...maybe ate too much turkey yesterday?

I for one am excited for those who were able to snag the SSE Frank and Bride...they look awesome! And I'm glad I ordered the Witch-king LS Bust because I can't afford the Weta statue. So even though there was no GTG 12 inch announcement I am pleased with what I got and happy for those who got what they wanted.

I'm in a great mood and just really love coming on this board and having fun with everyone....but the downer remarks (not even constructive criticism.....just crap remarks) can really take their toll. I may need to start ignoring people.

The Mouth of Sauron helm is sweet but deadly!! Kept falling off and when I would go to grab it the spikes would pierce my hand, which hurt like a mf.

It hurt like a millennium falcon? That must have REALLY hurt!

I am sorry I missed it. I might actually have gone after this one. There is something about the set that I find appealing.

The bride looks phenomenal.

I just traded one of my statues for 5 LOTR helms....they are so well done and look great dispersed with my other LOTR statues/figures.

So it doesn't have the post and hole setup but instead the half of a rubber ball setup? I could see how that'd be a problem. I'll have to find a good place to display these since it sounds like the computer desktop they're currently on would be disastrous.

It's similar to the base of the Witchking helm (not the rubber ball setup) but it doesn't balance as well as the Witchking. I kept thinking they sent me a crappy base but then I got a second one as a gift and it was the same thing. It's got three "arms" that you balance the helm on. (2 facing forward and one in the back) Perhaps I'm just lame and there's an easy way to do it. I had my Witchking helm on it's base all wrong until Bannister pointed out my mistake...made a HUGE difference.

no I was trying to balance it on TOP of the little arm thingys on the base not realizing that the ones in front went through the eye holes.

Passed on the 1:1 bust (since I don't have any of the other Uni 1:1), but pulled the trigger on the SSE Bride, Monster, and Base (even though I don't have any of the other Uni PF's). The bride is a beautiful and more hoofiying in B&W. May cancel the Frankie, but I'll wait till I get him in hand before I decide. Maybe he's just not a photogenic.
