In the new trailer they show him with that look, so I am assuming its like the Avengers and he puts the armor on when he goes into battle.

I hope they do some more improvements on the chainmail for the next figure. I think I'd honestly prefer the arms to be sculpted with the chainmail instead of a separate rubber piece. I don't think it would look as bad as some of the bare arms with visible joints, given that it already has the armor texturing.

What if HT skips on Thor 2 since it seems like all Thor past releases are slow sellers?

No way it skips on anything Marvel I bet. But I think we ONLY get Thor. Nothing else. Sad

I wouldn't be surprised. But we may end up with just Thor, maybe Loki if we're lucky.

They have already announced the phase 2 figures. So I think Thor is a safe bet.

Yes, Hot Toys has announced the license. But Hot Toys also has announced many other licenses that never get a figure or get a "one and done".
I think we all know at the very least Hot Toys is not gonna go "Avengers" or "Iron Man 3" on the Thor 2 line. Probably two figures at max (depending on sales) and it will most likely be Thor and Loki.
But let's wait and see, the film is out in November, so that would probably be when we get the first figure revealed.

Love this figure. Got my MKVII last week before I went on vacation. I always take some figures to photograph around the beach and bushes in the backyard of my beach house, and I love the new Iron Man, but I ended up taking more photographs of Thor lol. Probably doesn't hurt though because he's been my favorite Avenger since I was a kid. Too tired to post all my pictures in each thread tonight...but soon.
