There's a lot of reasons why people cancel or they get cancelled. And ordering multiples doesn't always mean you'll get more than one.

Also, on sold out or waitlisted items, sometimes Sideshow will waive the NRD if you call them and ask. I know some who have done it.

Yeah, to be fair i have only ever ordered one previous figure from SS.
And to save on import duties to the UK, i put in an address of a friend in NY who is willing to accept stuff on my behalf for that previous order.
It's because it's Michael's address that was stored in my SS account, that i was able to order this.
And thank goodness. Because otherwise i wouldn't have gotten in the queue.

Yeah I did :yess: lol but I remember right you told me its $260 was your limit, and you bought two??? :horror

:rotfl I know man! but once I saw the price online, I figured I could always cancel. Seeing how fast it sold out, I won't be doing that now. Going to flex pay one until July and then pay in full the other when it comes out!!

:rotfl too funny, of course you know now no one will ever believe you when you say nay nay.

Oh and FYI, I WAS RIGHT :D

What you have to ask yourself is this: "Is *anyone* who ordered this going to cancel that order?"
In light of the limited nature of it, even if you have to pay it on your credit card, or borrow the money for it, i can't imagine anyone cancelling.
Not only because it's such a unique looking item, but because the residual value is only going to go up.
But there's no harm in staying on the list as long as you can.

there are cancels all the time for many different reasons other than choice. because of financial problems, other pre-orders coming, family emergencies...the list goes on. people on the waitlist have two chances, during deposit and during CC charge. as i remember from the mark VI, if a credit card doesn't go through, you are not given an email for a second chance. they just recall the next person from the waitlist.
i got on the waitlist about 90 minutes after it opened. i'm hoping i get recalled.

Is it your credit card they're charging or his?

I think it would be safe to say if your not one of the first 25 on this your probably SOL, that is unless they release more.

:lol I know, but I feel had this been a regular MMS and been not that highly sought after, I probably would have passed at the $294 price tag, even though it is an AWESOME figure. But I do feel the high price is due to the highly limited run on this figure, so I feel like it's worth it now!

Again, you don't know this because nobody knows how many they even made?

I sometimes think some of you hope none convert. :lol

that's cool, but from now on you don't get to guess prices :rotfl

i'd be willing to trade a PF Joker Ex plus $100 for one of your two orders. what say ye?

which is why I also stated "unless they release more", as of right now, if this is all there is there will probably be extremely few will get a convert/reply.

And its not that I don't want some to convert, however at the same time I don't want there to be a mass amount of them released either, being limited seems to be what they were going for and I hope it remains that way.

:rotfl Actually I already posted in the whiplash thread my estimates on the price :lol That's one of the fun parts about waiting for info on the figure! What do you think whiplash is going to be priced at??

With HT you never know. They can still call it limited since it was only available in a few markets. It makes me wonder since they didn't come up with a number before hand.

And even their figures that had a big runs they call limited. Actually they call everything limited edition. I've never understood that.

And don't get me started on the reboots. :pfft:

Man this is such a nice representation of Iron Man. I am so glad I scored one.
I wish there were some pics of the open face head sculpt. I would love to see that up close.
If I were to nitpick this at all, I have to admit the elbow joint area seems a bit narrow, and the eyes seem a bit larger then they should be. I look at it as being too minor though to not be totally stoked for this, and my standard Mark 7....The wait is going to drive me nuts.:impatient::impatient:

Didn't notice until you pointed it out. It looks a bit too narrow. Looked at the Mark VII normal ver, the elbow joint area appears to be same design. It is little narrow. Oh, well. It is not a show stopper!

I did PO both normal and BD versions. Can't wait.... :yess:
