No one's stopping them.
Just as no one's stopping anyone from posting their opinions.
Get over yourself, squint.
Everyone else has!

I for one am one of those people who keep their figures in a museum pose. I just think it adds more to the display factor. As for the HOA display boring or not it looks 10x better than a 2D backdrop lol. Besides how many action poses for IM are there really? Arms up with repulsor or arm missiles or hovering/flying thats all i can think off.

I wont be criticising anyone who chooses to do otherwise and unless your intention is to be a **** then you shouldn't either.

You won't be . . . but you just did. :slap

Mine are just standing on my shelf with a simple pose. I'm not hanging them from extension cords battling each other in mid air.

I get why people view it as a dull thing but like I mentioned before, it's a neat little display case. Most people have these figures in a simple museum pose anyway. I personally think this thing would look nice in a Besta Shelf with the Tony Stark figure in front of all 7 of them.

Again, personal taste. :panic:

I actually like the HoA pieces. I would actually get them if they cost less, say 60 bucks. I would just rather spend the 110 to 120 a piece these go for towards another figure.

They are nice for sure, just not something I would pay that much for, when I can get another Mark or mms for the cost ot just 2 or 3 of the HoA's. For the cost of a set of 4 I could get another Iron Monger.

I am just giving my opinion, not bashing anyone elses.

Erm no I didn't. I've seen people have awesome displays with every figure in a 'museum pose' and I've seen people have awesome displays with every figure in all manner of varying dynamic poses. Both can look awesome and I have a combination of the two.

Great to see someone disagree on it at a reasonable way.

Sorry everybody, apparently I'm a wannabe cop because I strive for rational discussion based on observed facts and not opinions that have been proven to be based on blatant misinformation designed to insult and demean people who have a different opinion than me. Luckily, ignoring my posts is as easy as the click of a button.

And I'm sorry, but you can't call something 'splitting hairs' when you're using a medically-defined muscle group incorrectly to provoke and irritate. I'd suggest looking it up, but I can't think that you care enough to learn anything, which incidentally is why I'm here and why I hope many other people are here too.

I'd love to get them too, but the price is just not something I can afford. I enjoy dynamic poses for my human figures but I prefer statue poses for my growing number of Iron Man suits, unless the face is visible. That's why I'm getting this figure - I'll keep the standard Mark VII in the statue pose and the BD one in a dynamic pose!

wonder if we'll hear anything on Friday about pre-ordering

I hope so! :hi5:

It's not, I would bet it will be available for awhile.

While I think and hope you are right, while searching through the Mark VI movie promo thread earlier, a lot of people posted the same thing. And 32 hours after it went up for PO, it was sold out. :dunno

but at the same time - a lot of people had missed out on the original Mark VI... the Mark VII hasn't even come out yet.. I'm just hoping for a reasonable $$$

That one was limited to 3000 worldwide. This one is is just a limited edition (like all of HT figures) without any numbers on how many they plan on making.

They could make as many as they can sell

It was actually entertaining reading through a few pages of a year old thread. My favorite was the back to back post that said,

" This one will be available for while"

the very next post was

"Sold out"

Went back and read that read over again. You guys should go back and check it not. Best not to be too confident and get it the moment it comes up for PO if you want it.

I dont see how anyone could have thought that one would have been available for awhile.

I ordered mine during a meeting at work on my phone (tried to make it look work related :lol), because i knew it was not going to last.

I plan on getting this one as soon as it comes up but without production numbers it's not going to be a Mark VI promo. I have read a lot comments on people planning on buying and trying to flip it for a high price.

I didn't buy the pristine MKVII though I eventually intended to, so the dilemma is which would I buy now that there's the Battle damaged version?
Between the two, the BD version is the most interesting looking because it tells a story, though I do like the pristine version. But the thing is, the BD version will look out of place with the other Avengers figures because they're not all jacked up. Looking at the shelf you'd have to ask yourself, why is this one guy beaten to $**t but the other guys look like they just came from the locker room?

If I didn't have any of the other Avengers I might have picked up the BD version (though, it might be cool to picture IM getting his *$$ handed to him by a barely sweating Loki, Thor, Wolverine, or Hulk) but because I own Capt. America, and will own Black Widow and Loki next month, I'd have to go with the Pristine Iron Man Mark VII for my shelf.
