So they are statues. Weird. I wonder if HT will succeed with this sort of thing. I've got zero interest.

Well I will not be getting it. It was hard for me to order a PF. Na..But to others I am sure they will order it. I will wait for the over priced (and we all know it) the rest.

the crazy part is, I would buy these if they were in their neutral pose, to go with the Hall of Armor, which I don't need them to be articulated at all. $150ish for a non posed figure + 120ish for a hall of armor piece would make it very doable for me.

That'd be ideal for those who want a HOA display, you're not gonna need articulation when he's in there all stationary

:lecture:exactly: But then they wouldn't be able to call these a 'Power Pose' series. Seriously, would you give up a cool name like that?

we'll get a statue series soon, perfect for Hall of Armour placement :p

still waiting for some kind of announcement regarding MMS releases of *any* IM3 stuff.

should've been 1/4 scale since they are going to make a 1/6 figure anyways. They're competing with themselves basically.

Hmm If I want it in a nice box that it comes with from SSC I have to pay them $2.00 extra. Wow, Really Wow do I get a dinner and a movie with that?
You've got it all wrong, DrQ2! If you click that "Upgrade to Collector's Grade" checkbox, they'll put one aside for you that is mint, then box it separately with padding. If it's part of a larger order, they'll then put that box inside of the larger shipping box they're using for the big order. Really the extra $2.00 is only meant for stuff that you do not want to open. I've done it once in a while on Marvel Universe figs that I want to keep carded. On something like this, it wouldn't be necessary unless you want the box to be super minty even if you'll be opening it for display.

The nice thing with BBTS is that they do put whatever you buy into a shipping box. I just received Iron Monger today, for example. If I'd bought from SSC, they'd have just shipped it in the Hot Toys brown shipper (where it could get dinged and maybe go through the packaging to the actual HT box) whereas BBTS puts the HT shipper in a larger, padded box and it arrives everytime in great shape. Really like BBTS. You should give them a try! :D

On topic and in regards to these IM statues... pretty meh. Would never buy one.

All this for $160? This used to be the price for articulated pieces with headsculpts.
Oh HT, you stupid overpriced, license milking company you. I will not miss your products since I will not longer support your company anymore.

Yep as I thought, Koto statues with optional switch out parts and very limited articulation. It looks very nice, but it's just not for me.
